Great place
Stayed at this Marriott location in Sep/06. The were still in the process of remodelling (adding a Starbuck & adding to the restaurant) however, had they not mentioned it in a letter that greeted me at the room, I would have never noticed.
The room, furniture, linens, bathroom, amenities, setting, surrounding landscape was impeccable and perfectly done. The pool was clean and well maintained and the excercise room was inviting and equally as useful. With Marriott's "At Your Service" service, this was an extremely pleasant experience from check-in until check-out.
And lastly, this Hotel as well as the entire Marriott chain has gone "Non-Smoking" begining this month. Being a smoker myself, I was dissapointed when I found out they did that; but in all honesty, I was secretly thankful that they did not have Smoking rooms available. Considering that it was a hassle to have to take the elevator to and from the 5th fIoor down to the parking lot (that's the "designated smoking area") every time I wanted a smoke, I ended up smoking a lot less than I usually do for the 3 days I was there.
