Location good
By thegreekhk, 01/02/10
Located in a line of airport hotels - room size good - breakfast excellent - bar and other food good - car-park at back reasonable - not bad for a few days after arriving or before leaving from LAX. Certainly better value and better rooms than Hilton or Marriott.

Watch your Bill and Belongings
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/09
I got stuck here when my international flight was delayed and hoped everything would be covered by the airline and no hassle. Wrong! The big disappointment was finding an unauthorized charge on my statement when they said nothing to me about any charges during checkout. When I called to get it resolved, I spend a long time on hold and getting the run around to different answering machines without reaching any real person other than the receptionist. Even though the place wasn’t too guest-friendly when I was there, I was surprised at how poor the phone service was. The room itself was clean and nice, but ill-designed, the bathroom door opened into the sink so you had to move it to be able to wash your hands. The website advertises internet in the rooms...but they charge for that...it is only free in the loud lobby. Also, I put my bags in the luggage room before going to the airport and they neglected to bring out my laptop with the rest of my belongings. I didn't notice in my half-awake jet lag and had to rush back to the hotel from the airport before my flight to retrieve it. Dinner in the bar/grill was great and the waitress was friendly and kind. Breakfast next door was another story. The wait staff was not organized and made it seem as if they were the ones doing you a favor to do their jobs. I left without finishing my food, partially because the way the staff related to each other and to me made me highly uncomfortable, and partially because the buffet was so sugary I felt sick.

No hot water
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/04/08
The room was very nice and comfortable. Room service delivered steaming hot food and ice cold beverage. However, on Saturday morning at 7:10 a.m. there was no hot water for a shower. By the time the water was hot again, I had to leave.

location was perfect
By travel qa, 10/27/07
The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

Outstanding
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/01/07
We stayed for 4 nights. Virtually every aspect of the experience was outstanding... friendly staff, better than most hotel restaurants, spacious-comfortable room, concierge service was most helpful for directions and booking day day-trips, and ease of access. LAX is a "stone's throw" away, but the rooms are quiet--only the faint noise of jets. I'd have to look hard for something to complain about... the biggest problem might have been that the valet service was understaffed at peak times, but that's being extremely picky! We had an excellent experience here and would definitely book this hotel again.

Nice Place to Stay
By Xi, 04/12/07
I booked this hotel through priceline for $65 a night. This is a nice hotel for the price especilly when you have an early flight to catch. The hotel is 5 minutes away from airport and it provides free shuttle(every 15 minutes) to airport. The hotel just finished it's remodel. The room is very clean and most of the furniture and bed linen are brand new. It also have a heated pool. My kids enjoyed swimming there eventhough the outside temp is only 60's. Given the price I would say it's a great hotel to stay.

Excellent
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/20/06
It was convenient to LAX airport. Very comfortable and clean - the beds were wonderful! Tea/coffee making facilities and small fridge in room. Tastefully decorated. Very dark drapes that allowed us to sleep well. Very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed sitting by the pool under the moonlight! We would definitely go again.

Definitely a Business Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/08/06
I thought the hotel was adequate. The bed was cozy, service was good, internet was available, but some fixtures in the room were in pretty bad shape. The room didn't include regular amenities like; bath robes, a wet bar or shower caps(call roomservice). Overall it was ok, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who was not traveling on business.

First time and Last time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/16/06
We reserved and paid the hotel room for last weekend. When we were there at 11:30PM, they said they don't have any room available; I told them that's why I reserved the room. They sent us to a room on 15th fl. that is so called club floor. The room is small, the door is a little bit damaged, there is no place to put my things in bathroom; there is a very simple small shower, no bath; and the water is very very small; the second night, when I finished the shower, I just found out there is no towels in bathroom...
