Pleasant Stay - would come back

I stayed here for three days to visit my boyfriend who lives in La Mesa and had a very good experience.
I had no trouble with the staff or check-in/out. The house maintenance staff cleaned our room adequately while we were out.
The room was large and clean and came with a clean, working mini-fridge and microwave (I used both). Everything was in good working order and the TV had premium cable. The only thing I noticed was a small (permanent looking) stain on one of the hand towels in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was well-kept.
Despite the fact that the room was located on the second floor towards the corner closest to the freeway, it was very quiet and comfortable. The AC worked fine in our unit. The only small downside was that the room's window had a view right into someone's backyard.
Since I brought my laptop with me, my boyfriend and I had a chance to use the wireless internet. It went down for a stretch at one point, but otherwise was very good when it was working and I had no trouble logging on (no password required or anything).
We also used the pool once and had a nice time. The only disappointment was that the spa was shut down for remodeling while we were there.
We ate at the Denny's next door on our last night and our waitress was very friendly. I had no trouble with the parking and getting onto the freeway was super-easy.
I got this place for 50 bucks a night after internet special plus a $30 rebate so it was well worth the money!!
