University Square Hotel is adjacent to California State University in Fresno (Fresno State) and approximately five miles from Fresno/Yosemite International Airport. This location is also half a mile from the SaveMart Center, five miles from the Fresno Fairgrounds, and eight miles from downtown and the Fresno Convention Center. The rooms were renovated in 2007: there are new beds and bedding, carpet, drapes, furniture. Awesome Stay!

I stayed at this hotel when it was the Picadilly Inn. Along with it's new name, it is under new management so disregard old negative comments. I arrived super tired after move-in day for my college student at Fresno State and was pleasantly surprised by the improvements. It is a great location to the college and surrounded by many good restaurants that are walking distance. I will definitely stay here on future trips to Fresno.

There was no hot water for the shower in the morning. Pretty bad. However, service was good. Not a very convenient location for families due to poor location.

A small step above the $49 a night places- it does have internet access. Halls and elevators were dirty. Not a terrible place to stay, just not worth $168 a night. Holiday Inns are a better deal for business travelers.

Great Banquets - Lovely Rooms

We had our wedding here and everything was beautiful and beyond our expectations. Their decorator is superb and the staff was ready and willing to assist us with all of our needs. The rooms were nice and the beds are comfortable which is what we look for at a hotel.

Great Staff - Nice Place

The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and the suite our parents stayed in was well worth the money. The pool area was relaxing and quiet. I would stay again.

for the price that we paid i though there would have been something more modern....no offense but not so cheap lookin. it looks better from the outside
