Park Vue Inn, Anaheim

We are oldsters without kids along, but the many families who stay here were a delight to watch, most children being very well behaved. A credit to skilled parenting. Our room was not fancy but very clean, the bed comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast and "social hour" were a big plus. Very pleasant, helpful staff. We hope to go back next year and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Rooms were very small & walls were thin. You could hear everything going on above us, stomping, crying, talking, etc... The location is great & very friendly staff though. Little pricey.

After several phone calls and finally speaking to the manager, the Park Vue Inn reversed the charges. Maybe it was the repeated phone calls or it was the previous review posting below that did the trick. Nontheless, the Park Vue Inn has redeemed itself. Maybe I'll give'em another try. They should learn from this and practice "Great Customer Service" all of the time. Kudos to the manager for taking care of it so quickly. Let's hope all of you experience this great customer service, even if it took 'em a while to give it...

I called to cancel my reservation 2 days before our arrival because of my daughter's illness and they refused to refund my first night stay. The representative said I needed to call by midnight 2 days before which is actually 63 hours before there check-in time of 3 pm. That is not what their policy states. As another reviewer stated below, they have really Bad Management. If this is a family owned business they are supposed to care about families. The family that ownes this hotel should be very disappointed in their management. I will never stay at this hotel again. Don't waste your money -- stay at another hotel. The PARK VUE INN is a Bad Hotel. Be Careful with your money and family and stay somewhere else.

I have stayed at Park Vue with my family many times and have never been disappointed. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and you cant beat the location (literally steps from Disneyland). Their prices are affordable, especially when you factor in the included breakfast. I was even able to sit out on their upstairs patio and have a fantastic view of the Disneyland fireworks show. The staff is always friendly and very helpful.

We have been here several times and have enjoyed each stay. The latest was for a quick trip to Disneyland. We checked in very late and the receptionist was very friendly and quick. I think that they have updated their hotels a bit, because it seemed nicer than before. AND they don't charge for parking!!! It is super close to Disneyland so we always come back in the afternoon for a quick nap. The rates are great, the bed was comfy and clean, and the pool is a nice place to take a rest from Disneyland. I recommend this hotel to all my friends!!!

We had aleady left Anaheim, and our tire blew on the freeway on the way home and last hotel was booked. We decided to go back to Disneyland, while my husband figured things out. I happend to walk in to this hotel, the hotel clerk was so understanding and helped us with a great rate. We expected a alright hotel, and were suprised, it was very nice. And the clek being so super nice, and understanding was really a treat. We will be back.

Last year we found that this Hotel is even better then the previous years. We were greeted at the front by the receptionist and informed of the many amenities. When we got to our rooms, we found a nice gift basket with Wine, Cheese, Crackers and fruit. This was fantastic. My mom and her husband enjoyed that as myself, my brother and my sister didn't get any because we were at Disneyland soooo long.. I would highly recommend Park Vue.

We booked rooms 145, 146, and 210. When we first went in our rooms we all had thought they were doable rooms, the $128 price tag on a Monday and Tuesday was I think a little much but we agreed because of the location. The problem we had was not really with the room, just the room mates that came with the room. COCKROACHES!!!!! Mom was freaked out, sis was freaked out, I had to be the exterminator that night. I caught 2 (they were nice sized, about 1 1/2 inches long. The rest got away. They did come back out at night on the walls but would scurry away when the lights came on. We told the receptionist about the roaches but she insisted they were "Palm Bugs" I showed her the 2 critters and even after seeing them for herself she insisted they were these palm bugs and they couldn't do anything about them! Trust me folks I have seen enough cockroaches to be able to identify them lol. Anyways we had 4 kids with us and mom wanted to leave and go next door to the next hotel but we all talked her into staying so we didn't loose a day at Disneyland. These people cared nothing for our problem. We paid over $1300 for rooms and they said for your problem they would refund us $23!!!! Anyways thats my experience with these folks. I would consider the surrounding area hotels before this one.

i wouldnt stay there again. i would try the others that are "directly across the street" and have a bigger name, best western...the ramada. we stayed in room 116. we didnt see any roaches anywhere and i dont think i even slept under the blankets, we stayed there 3 days. the rooms are small and the carpet is beyond shampooing, it needs to be replaced. if your looking for good cable, then this isnt the place either! there was a total of 7 channels including 2 disney channels. :) the pool was warm and went to 9 feet but it reminded me of a motel type outdoor pool. the breakfast...cereals, donuts, yougurts and frozen waffles but ihop is in the same parking lot, so thats convienent. so to sum this up, i wouldnt stay again, the place needs to be totally remodeled but i LOVE THE LOCATION!!!!!
