Clean & Comfy
By J, 07/02/09
The rooms are newly renovated, very clean, and the air conditioner was blasting full on as we entered the room from the desert air of palm springs. The shower head is movable to make it more convenient for showering, the bathroom includes shower caps, hair shampoo, hair drier, plenty of towels, a box of tissues, one soap bar for bath, and one soap bar for face, as well as 2 makeup remover tissue packets. As I've said, the room is very very clean, I enjoy the TV channels and complimentary wifi internet. The only downside is the complimentary breakfast, all they have available is 2 types of cereal, one type of muffin, and one type of bagel, and beverages. Also, although check-in says after 4pm, we checked in at 2pm and they didn't say anything and were friendly about it. Checkout was super fast, all we did was left the keys on the check-in table and leave. Pool was clean, pool towels can be found in the check-in lobby. Otherwise, it was a cool and relaxing stay, I love the cleanliness.

Great Hotel and Value in Palm Springs, CA
By Allen, 04/20/09
The Hotel recently underwent a complete renovation of the rooms, lobby, and common areas. They added a new resort area which was a great place to relax poolside and listen to music. I have stayed at other nearby hotels, including the Calient Tropics, Quality Inn, and Royal Inn and this place blows them all away hands down! The beds were extremely comfortable and everything in the room was brand new. They also have a great free breakfast served daily which really help me get thru the day. I will definitely come back! Thanks CJ and Sara for making my stay so pleasant!

COMPLETELY RENOVATED
By HR, 11/18/08
the hotel has new owners, and they dint spare any expence, all new walls, carpet, pillowtop beds, landscaping just a new look, they were still working on the other 2 buildings and cant wait to go back, they have plans for friday and saturday live entertainment at the pool and a daquri bar when they get there liquor lic., meeting rooms and a small snackbar. I would not mark this off your list. it is a bargin compaired to the other hotels.

Don't stay here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/27/07
do yourself a favor..don't stay at this hotel! our room was small and cramped..two beds so close together that one bed was only one foot away from the washroom door! we had to shift sideways to get past the bed into a very tiny bathroom..which by the way was dingy with crusted dirt along the silver edges of the shower door and in the shower too, there was crusting of something unclaimed! YUCK!..the bed linens were old as was the carpet..the whole ambience was not nice! So we checked out a couple more hotels down the same road. and found a nice one just a couple of blocks away! ..even though we had to pay twice for two different hotels for the same day but it worth getting out of this yucky hotel room that we received..!!do yourself a favor...pay a bit more and get a nicer hotel to stay at! be forewarned!

Cheap but has trade offs
By Jaz K, 11/29/06
Likes: - Cheap - Near Palm springs downtown - Near Indian Canyon - Comfortable Bed - Wireless internet connection Dislikes: - Poor room service. As we checked into the room we called for coffee, tea sachets etc as they were not there in the room and the front desk asked us to come down and get it. - Not very informative people at front desk - Room decor was shabby and old.

Friendly staff...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/06/06
This place is great if your looking for a last minute booking and your on a budget. The Front desk clerk was very friendly. He was extremely busy upon arrival and was still able to manage being very polite. The place is very old and full of kids but they sure could use some renovating.

Travelodge Palm Springs
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/05/06
Decent 'value-oriented' room. No bells or whistles. 1960s style. Everything clean. Good wifi signal. Good selection of cable channels. Fine for the money. Grocery, Starbucks and liquor stores nearby.

Worst dollar value in 15 years!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/13/06
At an average nightly rate of $90 this was the worse dump I've stayed in in 15 years! Drity, bad beds and lackadaisical service make this a definite "never again"!

COULD NOT PAY ME TO STAY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/06
THIS IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE STAYED IN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. THERE WAS MOLD ON EVERY WALL IN THE ROOM. THE HEATER SMELLED LIKE IT WAS ON FIRE. WHEN TOLD ABOUT THIS THE MANAGEMENT SAID WELL THATS JUST NORMAL. THE BEDS WERE SO BAD THAT WHEN YOU LAID IN THEM YOU FELT LIKE A TACO. I WOULD ADVISE AGAINST STAYING HERE, THE STREET IS MUCH MORE HOSPITIBLE.
