Cheaply tarted up

The rooms are comfortable enough here but don't confuse this with the city's great hotels. The baths are cramped for a hotel of this class, as this is a renovation of a standard apartment building. The location is very good, however, quiet but close to a lot of LA's most exciting spots. The TV, on a cabinet between the bed and the living area in my room, was particularly annoying -- badly located and connected such that when you rotated the signal disappeared.
