Sea Port Marina Hotel, Long Beach

Despite the many bad reviews, I booked a hotel room here because I heard there are new Deluxe Rooms. The front desk gave me a really good rate ($79) - rare in this area. Room was clean, comfortable and cheap! I could literally walk across the street or down the block to dine, watch movies or go to the bar. I ended up staying a second night because there was another promo! - second nite was a walk in rate $55!

We stayed at the hotel for a week despite the reviews we read because of the great deals that were offered by the hotel. Staff was super friendly, court yard was quiet and peaceful, with beautiful trees, the pool & rooms were clean. Over all, great value for the money we paid. Since we stayed a week at the hotel, the best part was that there are 4 grocery stores within walking distance. Also walking distance to local beach.

The Staff was rude! The rooms were dirty infested with roaches, spiders and ants. There are hookers hanging out in the parking lots, propositioning guests in the hotel for sexual favors. It was a horrific experience. I would not recomend this place to my worst enemy!

this hotel is a big big joke not nice at all. rooms are dirty, pool is dirty too. when housekeeping comes there are suppose to CHANGE YOUR SHEETS not jus flip them over like they did with ours. they say you can use the grill but turn around and say no. ants everywhere stains on the ceillings. mattress are nasty. what i believe is funny is that they tried to say me and my husband was fighting soo loud and stuff we havent seen eachother in almost 2 months trust me we wasnt figthing then they said we was drinking and partying too loud we have a 3 month old baby there is no partying at our room. and about the grill we cant grill on our patio but other people can and no get in trouble, they came to our room and tried to say we was grilling and we was already in bed and the beat our door almost down. woke up our daughter thanks by the way could not get her back to sleep and broke our screen door also. when you wake like you are going to your room and the walls look like they are falling apart, and half of the staff dont speak english, and we was suppose to get a new fire alarm the day we got rooms changed but still weeks later no new fire alarm and our phone is broke no ear peice because we accidently dropped it and it broke, and we havent got a new one yet week later. you cant enjoy your patio because ants live on it, they are all over it. i will never stay here ever again. worst place ever. service bad, cleanlines bad, value bad. the only thing good is the location shops and movie place are in walking distance. but other than that it its a bad place. enjoy.....

We stayed in May, we could NOT use the pool, but would not have as it was not inviting. There was a movie crew filming so half the place was off limits. No elevators, they could not give us keys as the machine was broken, the carpet was sticky, white socks became grey. This made me wonder if the mattresses and bed spread were also unclean. There were shops, restaurants and movie theaters close by.

i really enjoyed my stay due to the wonderfull staff. Everyone treats you very sweetly and is very well trained. There is much privacy and the location of the hotel is great. POOL, Theature near by restaurants etc..

Construction was underway. But improvments are always a plus
