We regretted our staying

Poor environment due to location within industrial area.Room was very smelly even before we entered. Family members complained of back pains due to poor bed quality and noisy air-condition unit. No fridge in the room! This is not acceptable at all!!! All staffs were unfriendly and we felt un-welcome. Not suitable for family since we felt not safe also. Same and limited breakfast menu is served daily. Hotel seems to reduce cost by sacrificing visitors basic comfort.

Never will visit again

This hotel was in an industrial park. The staff was very unpleasant. When we asked for something, it was like we were talking to the walls. We were moved to 3 different rooms, the first 2 days we were there. The pool was very dirty, my daughter could not go swimming, when I asked for the pool to be cleaned, I was told they could not clean the pool, that it was done last week. They treated me very poorly and when I went to the desk, I could be there standing waiting to be helped and when an Asian Family or an Asian individual they would take them over me. This was uncalled for and unprofessional. Very heavy Asian population stayed there. There was a party in one of the so called halls, and the people were loud and they looked at us when we were either coming or going as to seem as we should not have been there. I will never stay at this hotel again.

very nice

I enjoyed the service. Everyone was quick to respond and extremly nice. I found The restaurant in the hotel to be very convinient.Not to mention, the food was great. The room itself was very comfortable.I have no complaints regarding my stay.I will be back soon!

We loved it!

We enjoyed our stay at the best western in montebello.Our trip started off horrible.We had no transportation to the hotel because of our relative decided not to pick us up. at the hotel every one was so kind and very helpful. Any request i asked for they tried their best to fulfill our family's need. It is a very clean hotel with friendly employees. Because the hotel was very comfortable,the workers were extremly helpful and kind, we will be coming here more often.

pleasant stay!

After reading the reviews i was quite hesitant to stay at this hotel. I must admitt the location isn't the greatest but if you have a vehicle it comes in handy. Other than that; the friendly front desk, the helpful housekeepers, the excellent amenities made my stay the most enjoyable in 7 years! I would definently come back again!!!

Good place to stay w/friendly staff

We are seasoned travelers and decided to stay at the BW Montebello not but choice but through an online booking my son made for us. Our room (located on the 2nd floor and facing the swimming pool) was very clean and cozy. The maid staff were delightful, and quick to respond when we ask for extra towels. The nice Fd agent had given us 2 tickets for their continental breakfast which we did enjoy so much. What a great surprise and value for our money!

I won't return here.

There is absolutely nothing about this hotel that is good. From the time you step foot into this hotel, you can tell that you probably won't even get your moneys worth. The room is just okay....beds are awful, food is terrible and service is bad. Location is not good, seems to be in a bad area. The only thing nice thing about the location is that it is close to some outlet shopping, but spend the money on a better hotel...it would be worth it. We were on the top floor of this hotel and we found a cockroach in our bathtub. Also, there was a huge cockroach in the hallway on the first floor near the elevators. Very cheap hotel, but worth it to spend and extra $20.00, $30.00, $40.00 or $50.00 for a better, cleaner hotel. I would rate this hotel more of a 1 to 1 1/2.

Ltd cable, no fridge, cold pool

Amenities list a fridge in each room, There was none. Cable channels were limited/few, not even a full range of basic. There is nothing to do. The pool is unheated and far too cold to swim in. The hotel is located in an industrial area with no nearby attractions. Loads of semis parked in parking lot. Overall, the rooms are also dark and depressing. Mine had a view of the I-5 expressway. The noise from the highway kept me from sleeping. The smog kept me from breathing. The staff were nice. Only bright spoot in our stay.

the wrost hotel ever

1. Can you believe my statement shown somebody's credit card number instead of my credit card number, and I am afraid my credit card number shown it to somebody's statemnt, awful. 2. Service bad. 3. bathroom's facilities bad.
