10 reviews for Days Inn Glendale, Glendale
Worst wireless ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/11/08
It just took me several minutes to login to post this review using Days Inn's wireless service, and I might need to submit this form two or three times to get it to go through. And, based on living here in their extended stays section, that's a very frequent occurrence. If you depend on a reliable internet connection, I'm pretty sure you don't want to stay here. Also, the front desk is clueless about anything involving computers and will just tell you to call Wintera, their wifi provider. About the only thing you'll get out of that is offshore tech "support" who'll walk you through the ineffective step of clearing your cookies. While the hotel is freeway convenient, for the same price give or take you can probably find a better maintained hotel that provides a professional-level internet service. I'll be moving out of here as soon as I can.

Close to freeway, tight parking. OK quality.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/05/05
I got a room with pool view (they only have pool view or street view), which is pretty nice. All rooms have balcony, but the rails are pretty far apart and so I don't recommend this hotel for those with little kids. It's 30-second drive from freeway exit. Allows pet in smoking floor with no extra pet fee (only refundable deposit). They tend to have parties in the ballroom on weekends so parking can be difficult. And bedsheets are thin like paper. Limited channels on TV (and our room didn't have a TV remote and we had to talk to 3-4 people and pressure them for a while to get one)

Parking can be a problem
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/25/05
They are remoldeling the hotel, replacing carpet and painting. Our room had new carpet and paint. The hotel allows pets and on some floors you can tell by the odor in the hall. However our room was clean and odor free. Parking can be a problem on Saturday nights during the singles dance. Even with parking across the street. We drove around both lots and the street for 15 mintues with no luck. Finally like the parade of others behind us we made our own parking, outside the lines and in the driveway. Other nights were fine for parking. Parking is not guarenteed by the hotel. First come,First serve. Resturant was great, decent prices, decent food and fast friendly service. Never a wait. Gas Station/Convience Store across the street which was great. Easy access to and off the freeway.

I cannot wait to go back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/22/05
I like to look at the pic of the Day's Inn and remember fondly the months I spent there. The parking is very plentiful and spacious. On Saturday nights they have really fun singles dances in the ballroom. The bar is very friendly and spacious with great service. The front desk goes out of their way to address every issue that needs addressing. The hotel allows dogs which is very nice to see all of the cool pooches with their owner's going for a walk. The restaurant is very good and never a long wait. The hotel is so conveniently located to the Galleria all major bus lines and grocery stores and restaurant galore. This is one of the best values for your money in America. I would encourage anyone who wants to do the extended stay to consider Day's Inn. The price is very reasonable and the area around the hotel is so romantic and charming with a wide assortment of trees and fauna. I hope to be able to travel and stay at this charming hotel again and again. It is such an incredible value and pleasant memory for me. Lew Hansen

I thought it was wonderful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/28/04
This is my favorite place to stay when I'm in Glendale. The front staff has always been very nice, helpful and very fast. When I went up to my room they called to make sure I got there safely. The parking in the parking lot next to the hotel is sometimes full but there's another parking lot across the street. I've never not enjoyed a night there.

Bring your own security guard!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/20/04
Room was only just acceptable, furnishings, decor and ambiance were very 'tired'. The bed base was ripped with stuffing hanging out, stains to walls and floor, poor sound insulation between rooms, corridors and even through the windows. The pool and jacuzzi were stained and looked dirty. Reception night staff were really unhelpful, through ignorance more then intent.

BUT THE MAIN PROBLEM was wholefully inadequate parking. Space was almost non existant every night we were there, 3 in total. The car park is inadequately lit, with dark areas, no surveillance during the night hours, other then the ability top place large labels on windscreens on vehicles that are forced to park in areas without painted lines, even though they presented no hazard, impedance to others or caused any obstruction. My $300 tow bar unit was stolen on Saturday night after I was forced to park in the back lot, in the dark, I will be suing Days Innn for negligence. My advice, find another hotel.............at all costs!
