We loved it!

The hotel staff were very professional and treated us like royalty. They upgraded our room, the view was wonderful of the bay, Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. The only problem was in the morning, the windows had fogged up and we could no longer see our beautiful view. My husband said that someone in the hotel told him that there was a problem with the ventilation system in the building. We stayed in the tower. So, next time we will ask to stay in another part of the building, unless they fix the problem.
The food was fabulous. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Good choice. The Tonga room is expensive with small portions, but fun. The Laurel Court has anything you want, practically. Good food. The breakfast was wonderful. My husband loved the buffet breakfast and I loved my Meyer Lemon ricotta cheese pancakes with maple syrup and sausages. The coffee was great, also. Wonderful atmosphere. We really enjoyed it. It was a little expensive, but worth it.
They were offering a King Tut package which included 20% off of parking if you were driving a hybrid car, which we have. Also, with the price of the room, included was 2 drinks from the bar, and 2 VIP tickets to see the King Tut exhibit at the De Young museum.. with no waiting in lines to get in. We really enjoyed our stay in SF. We love the city and will go back many times to visit. The cable cars stop right in front of the hotel and will take you to China Town or Fisherman's wharf, and DT. It's all so romantic and fun. People are pretty happy that live there, how could you not be in such a beautiful city.
