Nice Hotel with Poor Quality Service

FOOD: The hotel restaurant serves low to moderate quality food for approximately $20 per plate. However, there is a pretty nice variety of restaurants surrounding the hotel.
ELECTRICITY: You have to insert your hotel room key into a slot in your room in order to obtain electricity. This made the otherwise nice, clean looking room, seem a bit classless.
GROUP ROOM RESERVATION: I made reservations with a group of 16 people, and our reserved rooms were randomly scattered throughout the hotel, making it quite inconvenient to meet. The conference room reserved for our group was a great distance from many of our rooms. This group reservation was unorganized and poorly planned.
DOUBLE-BOOKED ROOM: One of my colleagues arrived back at his room after a group meeting, only to discover that there was another couple in his room, with his belongings. His room had been double-booked, allowing two complete strangers access to his personal belongings, as well as causing him great embarrassment.
BAR SERVICE: The hotel bar closes at 11:00 p.m. When my group asked the bartender for a recommendation of where to go, she told us that it was only a 10-minute walk down the harbor to several open bars and restaurants. After walking down the harbor for approximately 45 minutes, we found the bars and restaurants, which had all been closed since 10:00 p.m. This is apparently no place for nightlife.
SHUTTLE SERVICE: After walking a great distance at the recommendation of the hotel, and wanted a ride back to our rooms. We called the hotel for shuttle service, and the representative at the front desk said that he could not find the keys to the shuttle, and would not be able to pick us up. We requested that he call us a taxi, which never arrived.
MAID SERVICE: Maid service did not arrive until 2:45 p.m.
CHECK-OUT: To top it all off, the front desk was unable to present me with a receipt of the charges to my card.
