Hotel Del Capri, Firestone Park

The Hotel Del Capri is the most adorable hotel in West Los Angeles. The flora and fauna covers a retro pink plaster, cozy hotel. The rooms are big enough for a medium cost hotel, the decor pleasant and the surrounding atmosphere provides a lovely privacy found at more costly luxury hotels.

We stayed in this hotel because it was recommended by a friend. However, when we got to the hotel there was no turning back as we were very tired already from a long drive and it was like 10 pm already. they gave us a room where the windows are like broken, bed pullout is also broken, molds on the tiles, antique tv. all price for $99.00 a night ! The place is so unsecure, they have guards alright but looks very unprofessional, uniforms not tack in and always talking to the front desk. The stay was overall horrible and was like a nightmare. I think our friend was making a prank on us.

the rooms are big but the contintinal breakfasts only consists of a muffin and coffee. I don't think thats a breakfast but if you're into that then okay. Everything else is good except the bathrooms which are small compared to the size of the room. Pool was heated which is a plus and close to eating places outside of the hotel but I give it a 2.5 rating.

It's not really a Suite....no Microwave or stove top. They say free breakfast but it's actually coffee and muffin.... They also have lots of hostel type rooms so there are many people around but it does not appear too unsafe. The keys kept needing to be re-done they said that it could be because of keeping it close to a cell phone. The internet is free if you have your laptop, but you have to go out to the office or by the pool to get good reception... that was one of the down sides.
