This will be our second stay, but not our last
By SharonD, 11/26/06
We were in CA in July for my Brother's funeral and we stayed at this Red Roof Inn, Airport. We were very pleased with the room - the colors are so cheerful. We could see renovations being done but our area was very clean. The restaurant was quite good. The variety of food served should please anyone. I LOVE CAPPUCINO and it's free at the refreshment station in the lobby!! This trip is for visiting with my Sister-in-Law and we will be spending 3 nights - reserving 2 rooms. She will be our tour guide on this visit. We will be leaving San Francisco to go on an 11 night Hawaiian Cruise and if we need to stay somewhere in CA after the cruise, it will be at this Red Roof Inn. Steve and Sharon E. Palatka, FL

OK

This hotel is operating on the edge. Our first room smell like mold, the next as much better. The internet connection was very bad. The hotel is still using dial-up.

Think hard before staying here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/24/05
I have spent many nights in hotels and this was the worst experience that I have ever had. The room was dirty and the walls were covered with mold. The front desk staff were really rude and didn't seem to care about the hotel. I stayed in this hotel ra couple of years ago and had a great experience. This chain must be having money problems because the rooms are a total disgrace with broken furniture, dirty bathrooms and broken down beds.

Convenient location, average amenities, great rate
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/16/04
The only real complaint I had was that we assigned to a "non-smoking" room, but when we first walked in, the smell of smoke almost knocked us down. There was a small card on the table saying the room had been "de-smokified" or whatever, but the odor was awful. That cleared out a bit after the 2nd day. Other small issues: the TV had some sort of interference every 15 minutes or so (every channel), which we never did figure out what caused that; and also on the last day of our stay, our housekeeper forgot to leave us any bath towels or soap. I had to go to the front desk to get them. Overall, though, it was a good rate and great location for what we wanted. The bed was comfortable enough, and water pressure and temperature were fine. I would consider staying there again.
