Perfect location!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/01/09
We liked that it was not far from Disneyland, free shuttle that runs every 15 mins. There's an ABC store next door, and an IHOP and Subway right across the street if you wanted to eat lunch outside of the park. The hotel also has complimentary breakfast daily. Dislikes, the only thing was when we first got there they gave me a room but had no view it was blocked by a wall in front of it, I asked to be moved and there were more accomodating to move us.

was not that great ...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/09/09
i think for the amount of money we paid for a premium room was no different than a regular room. to much money.. the maid service was horable... would not stay there again ever !!! the only nice thing is you can walk to the park , however there are many hotels next to the park...

We wouldnt stay anywhere else!!
By Doug, 07/10/09
Clean rooms, Very friendly staff and walking distance to park entrance. We have stayed at The Candy Cane 5 times over 2 years and it was as close to one of the Disney resorts you can get. We have stayed at two of the Disney resorts and for the money Candy Cane Inn can't be beat.

Cnady Cane Inn is JUST OK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/19/09
Likes, the landscaping and the free shuttle to Disneyland. Dislikes, the fact it is an old style MOTEL with small rooms, hardly any room to move in the room. Somewhat noisy with the parking lot and pool area in the middle section of the hotel, where your windows look out of. The breakfast isn't much, and very crowded. They could also extend the hours a bit longer, not everyone gets up at 6 AM. The price is OK, but seems a bit more than other Motels in the same area. I went here due to the positive reviews, but only found it an average place.

Think twice before going again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/13/09
We have always stayed at the Candy Cane and loved it, The last time we stayed there the soap dish had mold in it and when we brought it to the front desk all they said was thank you "NO SORRIES" Will think twice the next time. The distance to Disney is great. We love to just walk so we don,t have to wait for the shuttle. If you want to it comes every half hour and is always on time. The breakfast is great and you can walk next store for treats for the day at Disneyland. At 7-11 or ABC store. This was our only problem at the Candy cane in going for 7 years there.

Great customer service and atmosphere.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/06/09
My family and I won't stay anywhere else when going to Disneyland. Last year I left a small bag behind in our room. The maids had turned it in to "lost and found", and the head of housekeeping mailed it back to me here in AZ at no charge. Rooms and grounds are always well kept.

Great place to stay we would stay there again!
By Jimmy G, 01/03/09
The service was prompt at check-in and the person was friendly. Rooms clean. They have a shuttle bus that takes you to Disneyland, so you do not have to deal with parking fees or about a 10 min walk. Makes it a real delight when returning back to the hotel in the middle or at the end of the day. Continental breakfast is free for guests, and lots of food to choose from.

Great staff and service
By LeAnn B, 10/15/08
A friend and I stayed at the Candy Cane Inn during a time when the sewer line was out. The staff was stressed but remained composed and their service was great. The room, even without water, was very nice. We loved the shuttle to and from Disneyland. Parking was easy with no extra charge. The breakfast is perfect for a quick bite and the coffee was good.

We will be back!!!!
By Stansberry, 09/14/08
A very nice place to stay. Extremely close to the front gates to walk to the Disney Parks. Reasonalby priced. Clean rooms, clean swimming pool and friendly staff. Complimentary continental breakfast nice. Not too many seats to eat inside, but you can go back to your room or sit next to the pool. Didn't use the internet so I don't know how the connection was. Bottom line for the price this was a great place to stay!!!!
