Never Again!

The one bedroom apartment we stayed in had potential, yet was yard sale decorated, torn furniture, and far from private.We had religious solicitors, gardeners peering in the patio windows while watering, and a smoke alarm battery going off. Not to mention the fact that you could hear the neighbors using their bathroom! When I shared my discontent with the owner...he did nothing! We won't be going back.

No frills but nice

Lodge is located 10 miles off freeway in the hills. We had a queen patio room; not much room to move around since there was a dresser, bed, table with two chairs and twin bed. You can tell the room is old and non-updates/refurbished/renovated. Old light fixtures make noise. But it is comfortable. Bathroom (shower/tub, sink and toilet) leaves little to be desired; tile and fixtures old. Absolutely no place or counter to put toiletries. Pool is nice to swim or do short laps. Hot tub sign states 3 persons maximum. Large lawn area, plenty of pool toys. Living room has old dusty books, much decorations, nice cat. Owners are friendly and nice. Weather most enjoyable: Sun comes out in morning, way before fog burns off in nearby Carmel or Monterey.
