Good, but could be a LOT better
Despite the clean lines and uncluttered appearance of it's downstairs lobby, this hotel falls short of the mark for what I would classify as a boutique hotel.
The rooms were about the same size as your average Motel 6 or Holiday Inn. The beds were a bit more comfortable than those other places. Other than that, nothing else about this hotel stood out from any other run of the mill hotel/motel room. For the price, the room should have a WHOLE lot more amenities than it did.
Probably the thing this hotel could do for it's guests that would make a tremendous difference is have a small gift shop so their guests don't have to wander the streets of West Hollywood at night looking for a shop that sells snacks, batteries, bandages, etc...Around where this hotel is, it's not all bright lights. Walking the sidewalk there didn't feel very safe. I was very upset that I had to wait until morning to go across the street to some run down-looking convenience store to buy what I needed. I would have paid more to the hotel if they had carried something like that.
If the hotel were at the same price as places like Holiday Inn, I'd go back. But for what you get at the price you pay, there are other hotels that offer more at a better price.
