I will never go back

My wife and I arrived late in the evening from out of state. We knew the hotel was off the 60 Freeway, but that was all we knew. The hotel was directly off the the freeway; however, the front desk person could not tell us what exit to take. When we finally arrived, we promptly checked in and went to sleep. The next morning, we found nothing spectacular about the continental breakfast. The food appeared to have been left out much like the gallon of store bought milk by the cereal dispenser. Neither the yogurt nor the hard boiled eggs were on ice. It was disgusting.
Much like the previous review, we also found ants in the bathroom. The television reception was horrible and reminded me of the days before cable. The WiFi connection didn't seem to work until our second day. Even then, it was slow much like an old dial up 2400 baud modem. The refrigerator didn't seem to work on the first night. I complained about it to the front desk person who seemed annoyed. When I called about it later (not being in the room), it still had not been fixed. Later on the second day, it appeared as though the refrigerator turned on; however, there was never a tight seal inhibiting the use of said machine.
On the many rides to and from our floor, we noted that the elevator arm bar (brass) was sticky from some unknown substance. It remained so throughout our stay. Unfortunately, that was not the worst of it. On one particular morning, my wife and I were on our way down the hall to the elevator. We nearly interupted three men in debate over money owed. The debate evolved into a good ole' fist fight. The wife and I, not having any connection with the three men, promptly turned around and found another way downstairs to our horrid continental breakfast. Much to our dismay, when we returned to the room, we noticed blood spatter in the elevator hallway. One wall appeared to require a good spackling. As we turned the corner, two local police officers and two of the three men were having a conversation regarding the recent events. One of the men denied any involvement while the other said he didn't know the other person. Yet, he claimed the other person owed him money.
On our last morning, my wife and I ventured off to the continental breakfast one last time. She noted gnats and other insects gathering about on the pastries. She continued to select a bagel in her own stubborn fashion. I promptly refused to eat another breakfast at the hotel.
I will never, ever, return to this hotel again. I encourage everyone to choose wisely and take this review to heart.
Oh yes, I forgot to mention the wonderful view of the boarded up and graffiti's home just outside the window.
