Will stay here again...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/07/08
A very good value, fairly priced...clean rooms, attentive staff. Definitely between the Heritage "Express" downtown and the Oxford Suites, in all values; not quite the extras you get at the Oxford, but quite a step up from the downtown location, which, by the way, isn't a bad spot either, when there isn't a lot going on. Figure, less expensive, more students can afford it, more activity. The pool isn't as accessible, the breakfast isn't as elaborate, the rooms don't have the "suite" factor you get with the couch at the Oxford and the bottled water, etc., no pets, and the a/c unit might be just a little noisier, but otherwise the amenities in the room were very comparable- good bed, roomy, clean and newish. Would definitely consider a stay here again.

Cardboard Beds
By Diane, 04/10/07
The beds in this place are worst then any I have ever slept on at a motel, I called to ask for a different room as I have a bad back but was told all the beds were the same and was sent up 3 blankets to put under the sheet for padding. I booked through the Internet and had to wonder if they stuck us in this room because they did not make as much money on the room. This was a non smoking room but I it was obvious someone had smoked in the room. There was garbage on the floor and the window (without a screen) was opened when we walked in. The breakfast was a joke, I had to ask for someone to please make coffee. Will never stay here again. Dianeay

REFUSE TO GO BACK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/14/06
Worst beds ever, very uncomfortable.Lousy front desk service, no help whatsoever in the middle of the night. Vending machines on all floors all were empty for personal needs. Party of 4 had become sick a Applebees rest in the area, son was feeling an upset stomach, they had nothing for us, said local walgreens is down the street. Asked for extra condiments in the room i.e. pillows & sheets. Front desk seemed put out to have to supply anything additional. Breakfast is over by 9am anything after that forget it. The entire breakfast consisted of watered down coffee & juice. Stale waffles,& cereal too.You have to stay in the cramped room, cannot take food to the room nor is brought to you via room service. Low quality hotel by my standards.and my standards aren't very high for a place to sleep. Pool outside was so dirty I had to clean out with a net myself. The amount I was quoted via the reservation & the amount I was charged at the desk & the amount I was actually billed to my account were all inconsistant. They charged me at least 20.00 higher than the original reservation made on the auto club discount rate. Had to call back to complain, they said we'll all customers will be over charged in case anything is broken or missing? I wont ever return nor would I reccomend this place to my worst friend. Dont stay here there's so mant more great places to stay up up there I am going to be checking out. The Oxford in is so much better rated & so are some of the other places in the area all in all there are about 3 or possibly 4 recommended locations. check all the ratings first prior to making a reservation up here It's worth the time all the way around. Please pass on the horrible experience to anyone staying in the area.

It was a good
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/06
The place was average...nothing too special, but the guy at the front desk was nice, the room was pretty clean and it was reasonably priced. I would stay there again.

Not stay here again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/05
Stayed here in September but would not stay here again. Although staff moved us when we complained about loud noise in our first room, I did not every get a "warm and fuzzy" from anyone we encountered. Paid for king-sized room and was given one on second floor right below some sort of electrical control room that hummed and made a lot of noise all the time. We were told nothing about the control room being above our room when we checked in. At first we thought it was noise from elevator. However when 11:00 PM came and loud hum did not stop, we checked with front desk and found out about the control room above our heads. Couldn't sleep with the loud humming noise so we asked for another room. No other king-sized room available so had to settle for smaller queen-sized room and move out stuff after 11:00 PM at night which was not fun. Also thought breakfast was not served late enough. Had to get down there by 9:00 AM or you missed the whole thing. And then promptly at 9:00 AM, the attendant shut the doors and started cleaning up. I thought this was really rude to those of us still in the breakfast room. Heard some people complain that they didn't get any breakfast cause they got there a little late. I really think you should keep it open until 10:00 AM. Not all people staying in hotel are up early for business. Staff was okay but did particularly friendly. Would not stay here again.

Good If you need a place to sleep.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/22/05
Unless you're looking for just a place to sleep, I would not recommend this Hotel to my worst enemy, the cleaning people didnt even clean our room the second day. Their idea of a continental breakfast is a few old donuts and some orange juice. The beds were the most uncomfortable things I have ever slept in, and the pool is located in the back the the parking lot! (right below the highway mind you!) The front desk people were rude, and completely inconsiderate.
