The Best Stay
By YvetteW, 06/08/09
We have stayed at a lot of places and this was by far one of the best. The rooms are a little small, but for a family of 4 they are perfect. We loved the breakfast and the pool area. The frreway was close by and there were a lot of food places close by to choose from. My family would deffinately stay there again.

If it were possible I would give it NO STARS, this hotel is a dump. First off it's way off the freeway and in the HOOD(Thought I was going to get car jacked) (No Joke). There are far better hotels next to the freeway, which I am now going to! The food was horrible that staff did not speak any english. I asked for a paper cup and got a glass instead. This is a warning: DO NOT GO HERE!!

Never Again!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/25/07
Stayed here for three nights, on a business trip. Rooms were small, old, and dumpy. A/C did not work, so I changed rooms (the maintenance man...who also does laundry, attempted to fix it). A/C in the second room had problems as well. Residents were noisy all night, and the adjacent residential homes had dogs that barked all night. On my last night, the key would no longer open the door. I had to get a new room key. To top it off, my "discounted" rate because of my employer was $99 / night. I would not pay half of that, had I known what a nightmare staying there would be. I will never stay here or any Best Western again. DO NOT STAY AT THIS DUMP. The Inn of Lancaster, two doors down is MUCH, MUCH nicer, and has a wonderful staff.

What a Weekend !!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/08/07
We recently stayed at this hotel for my daughters soccer tournament. We were so impressed when we checked in the clerks were so friendly and informative. We were told about the seafood buffet they were having that night and decided to try it. WOW whoever would of thought that this restaurant existed in the desert. The buffet was comparable to the ones in Las Vegas. The entire staff during our stay were so attentive to our needs. We needed box lunches for our entire team and they were ready waiting for us in the morning just as ordered. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone especially sport teams. They were awesome!!!!

bad option
By MILO, 06/22/06
I had to stay here for 5 days with the family in between escrows (moving from one house to another)and for the price $80.00 a day considering the area I was expecting more standard features. My reservation was made original for 3 days so even that I was paying the staff wanted me to give up the room after that time. Extremely small rooms no tub just a shower in the bath where I hardly fit in.The lobby was being redone so I had to go to a room that they accomodate as front desk right accross my room a lot of noise at night I didnt see any security guard and couldnt sleep just thinking how in the world I brougth my kids to this place.Small rooms ;unsecure place;a lot of noise at night ;expensive for what you get. ABSOLUTELY NOT A PLACE TO BE !!! BAD OPTION

Had to sleep with one eye open!
By Adrianne, 05/26/05
First of all I was woken up at about 3am during the week because someone, presumably from the seedy bar nearby, decided to bust through a window near mine and try to drag the person in the room out of it. I mean I know this is CA, but come on....for $80 or so a night I would expect better. And why would a hotel put a big 6 ft by 6 ft (approx) window near a door anyway? That's not very safe....I will give the security guards credit for responding quickly however. I also parked my convertible car in the lot next to where the rooms were and came out in the morning to see that it definitely looked like someone had tried to pry the top off. Maybe someone scared them off, but I traded my rental in anyway. On another note, when I finally checked out I saw a large charge to my room for local calls, after the front desk specifically told me I wouldn't be charged anything for these. I would think twice about staying here, or anywhere else on Sierra Hwy.
