AMAZING!!!
By chelsea, 10/14/08
i loved staying here and i will return! i loved the victorian style and it had a homey feel, i felt very at home here. each room had their own bathroom. i stayed in the Tiffany room and the Rose room. the Rose room fit me better, personality wise, it was more me. both of the bathrooms i loved. they both had wonderful shower heads that had great water pressure. it wasnt like some places where they dribble water. their breakfast was amazing! you sit down at a table and they serve you like a resturant and they give you a few things to choose from or you can have all the choices if you want. personally i love the yogurt and granola. then there's tea time! they put out tea, cookies, and a few cakes. those are out all night! and these cakes, i think, were homemade! im not sure if they were homemade but i think they were. anyway, they are all low calorie, light, cakes. they were delicious! after tea time they have a wine and cheese hour. i never attended the wine and cheese since i dont drink wine and i was out at the time they had wine and cheese. the staff are friendly and always willing to accomodate all your needs. they made me feel at home. i love the Bath Street Inn and i definately want to return!

Save your money nothing works.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/17/08
The spa tub did not operate. We were told it would be fixed, but by the next day the plumber could not fix it and needed new parts. The toilet leaked and made noise all night long. We asked for a discount. But got a frosty look.

Not too bad
By Chrissy, 8/14/07
The service was great! Location was nice as well. Overall pretty tidy rooms. Only thing about it was rooms go from $150 to over $250.

Great place/not near beach
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/17/06
Great service. However, the price we were quoted was higher than the prices on the computer. The food was plentiful and all home prepared. The Rose room was very romantic. The fan in the room did not work properly however, everything was clean and in working order. They advertise a person on the permises at all times, however, there was not someone there after 7:30pm, but that did not matter as we had access to the main house and kitchen if we needed anything. Overall this was a great experience

A great place in Santa Barbara
By Rx Chick, 11/6/05
On the way down to Santa Barbara we called The Bath Street Inn to see if you could get a room for the night. We were in luck, one room left, queen bed with a jacuzzi and private entrance. We arrived at 4:30pm at tea-time which consisted of hot tea and coffe, iced tea, coffe and lemonade, fresh baked cakes and cookies. We checked in and were told that wine and cheese would be served at 5pm. Wow!! We didn't expect all that so soon. After we cleaned up and joined in with wine and cheese, we asked our hostess for a casual place to dine. She recommended and called in a reservation for us great little restaurant (Paradise Cafe). The next am was a delicious home made breakfast of yoguart, home-made granola, fresh OJ, and peach frenchtoast with crasins. Not bad to a last minute booking:)

Superlative Stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/8/05
The outstanding home-baked breakfasts and night-time desserts were divine! Marie and her staff catered to our [a small group]every needs. To a person, everyone felt the attention to detail made them feel special. The Inn has been booked for"Same time, same place, next year". We can't wait! A Band B Veteran

Can't wait 'til October and going in 2 wks!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/11/05
We like going to the Bath St. Inn every year for our anniversary in the Fall. We first stayed there when my now hubby proposed to me by surprise 3 yrs ago. The host that night was so helpful by setting up our dinner date at a real cool restaurant, we've always had great svs. This is not the fanciest biggest place which is what sometimes you need to just hang out and get away from the OC facade. We've tried other suggested Inns around SB, but you can't compare to the real home cooked breakfast and warm feeling of this little place.
