Ramada Inn Mountain Home, Mountain Home

This was a good place to stay for the money. I've stayed in better places, but the cost was much more. The bathroom door knob was dislodged and in poor working condition but when your with your spouse and children privacy in the bathroom is not really an issue. I felt safe in the room and the room was fairly clean and everything else was in working order. The toilet had brown discoloration in the bottom and since I was not about to stick my hand down in the water, I could not say whether it was water stains or just an area that got missed by the toilet brush. Small moldy area in the shower and the non-skid stickers in the bottom of the tub were brown instead of the obvious original color of white. Not a place that I would place my infant to bathe her. I had to take a shower while holding her since I wasn't comfortable laying her in the tub. I will say that as far as cleanliness, I am hard to please and I realize that 98% of hotels that I stay in will not meet my standards of cleanliness. I accept this and still consider this hotel a good value for the money. Location was good for us since we had our boat docked at Panther Bay Marina. Also close to the main attractions in Mountain Home to my knowledge. Rated the service as good because we really didn't need any services other than strictly checking in and out at the front desk. Friendly staff as far as that goes.
