DoubleTree by Hilton Little Rock, Little Rock

We had an event at the Robinson center next door so we stayed at the double tree for convenience, bad idea. Walls are paper thin so you hear people talking,etc all night making it very hard to sleep, elevators were so slow at times we waited in line for10-15 minutes for one.The restraunt wasn't very good so we ended up going elsewhere for breakfest and dinner. This is the first time I've ever written a review, but for the prices they charge I just had to warn others so hopefully they won't make the same mistake we did. The staff was very friendly but we will never stay there again.

The rooms had been updated and the view of the Arkansas River was fantastic. The hotel is located right next to the Robinson center, which is very convienient if you are attending an event. And the cookies are fantastic.

We were just there for a couple of days getting ready for our daughter's wedding, which was at the Robinson Center that adjoins the DoubleTree, and the reception that was in the hotel. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was without flaw. I am in a powerchair, and they always rushed to help me with doors, or anything else they could help me with. But, they gave the same treatment to all our others too. The breakfast in the restaurant was good, but I didn't eat any other meals there. The room was nice, and everything appeared to be very clean. They even helped with cleanup and taking down decorations after the wedding, and stored leftover cake in their cooler, and other things in their secured storage room. It was truly an experience of being treated really great by the hotel staff. All of us there for the wedding, decided that the DoubleTree must be the best employer in LR, since all of the workers were so happy, friendly and helpful!

The outside of this hotel does look older, but don't let it fool you, it is very nice and very clean inside. The rooms are up to date and immaculate. The service was excellent, everyone was so friendly. Fitness center is nice, which is important to me when I travel. Also, it's walking distant to everything, including nice restaurants, the River Market, and shopping. I parked in the garage and left my car for 2 days literally. Walking distance to running/walking trails which was nice!! The dining room is good too, although I thought breakfast was a little expensive, it was buffet, so I guess I can't complain too much. I do wish they offered a free continential breakfast to the room for those of us that are "light" eaters. I loved that they used Neutrogena immenities and my room had a beautiful flat screen TV that was probably at least 32 inches, very nice. If I had one tiny complaint it would be that the sliding door to my balcony was hard to open, but the view of the city was nice. Next time I'll ask for a view of the river so I can compare which I like better. Also, the parking in the garage was free, even though on the website it said it would cost $5. Not sure if that was some kind of special they were running or what, but it was nice to park free.

I recently stayed at the Doubletree Hotel in LR only to have some of my property that was left in the room during the day when I was gone from the hotel to be taken. I was given the run around that maybe the staff thought that I had left and put the property in the lost and found.....only problem....all my other luggage and property was left in the room!! Although the property was not hugely expensive, it is still frustrating that you cannot trust the individuals who work for the hotel. In addition, I did not get a quick response from the hotel staff. I would suggest that if you stay there to bring a safe to put your valuables in. Plus, the elevators are super slow and extremely hot! Further, a $2 charge from the hotel restaurant appeared on my bill that I did not charge.

The construction at the hotel was a pain. You have to share the slow elevators with the construction workers. The lobby was a mess. The hallways had not been swept and were covered with trash. The pool was small without any shade or towels available. However the room was great and very clean. The bathroom was brand new, the views from the room were outstanding. The hotel is close to everything. The hotel has free parking and the free internet. The staff was very polite and helpful. Once the construction is completed it should be very good.

The hotel is ok looking but the staff seemed clueless. One manager named Ray something was a nightmare, always yelling at his employees and cussing and complaining about anything and everything. I surely hope he gets fired as soon as possible, that is the only way anyone I know will ever go back.

I love this place. It has the best food, the most comfy beds, and great room service. I would give this hotel 1,000,000 stars Because it's the place for a hotel.

Me and my family went to Little Rock Double Tree hotel for the Arkansas Bandmasters convention in 2005 and i cannot wait to come back this year. The location is great. the front view of the hotel is great too. they have an outdoor pool and an excercise room. The rooms are very nice and they appear to be very clean. The service is great and all the staff seem to be very nice and polite. The hotel is very nice looking inside and the convention center is very nice also. They also have a parking garage which is nice and the food is great. All in all i would reccomend this place if you go to little rock!

This hotel has a great location in the downtown area. Are rooms were facing the Arkansa river and had a beautiful view. The hotel staff was very friendly and service orientated. Are rooms were spacious, extremly clean and well kept. No complaints here, I would love to stay there again anytime I would be in Little Rock.
