BEST WESTERN Benton Inn, Benton

The hotel was easy to find and they were very accommodating at the front desk. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. The only two things that I didn't like is that the desk chair had a brown stain on the seat (what was it?) and there were a couple of stains on the sofa - they need to purchase new stuff or clean up the old because your mind goes to weird places. Over all, we'd stay there again.

Well for starters, DO NOT book this place through Expedia.com. Expedia promised us joining rooms with 2 beds in each. After driving 6.5 hours, we found out that all joining rooms were already booked and the rooms they gave us were on opposite sides of the motel. After asking the front desk if it was possible to get this problem fixed, the person at the front desk said there was nothing they can do. Fine, I understand it was Expedia's fault, but they still should have fixed the problem since it is their motel. As soon as me and my sister got to our room, we found out there was only 1 bed in the room. My cousin went to see what he could do. The manager had called him to discuss the matter. After trying to explain to the manager what the problem was, he said she was rude and wouldn't let him finish his explanation and kept interrupting him. After getting rude back, she finally got us a roll-away bed for the night and then moved us to the room next to the other room in the morning. The rooms were clean but they did need a lot of TLC. Paint was coming off the walls and the bathroom smelled like urine or dirty shower curtains. Housekeeping didn't replace anything in the room. The pool was just as hot as it was outside. I have slept in worse places than this one though so I'm not complaining too much. This place would be the bottom of my standards. Other than that, if you have been driving 6-7 hours and are just wanting to get sleep, then this place will do. If you are willing to find a different place and willing to pay more then I recommend you do that.

Very cooperative and helpful staff. They got us a fridg. and microwave for our four day stay at no extra cost, fixed the TV promptly and were generally quite pleasent. The interior was clean and comfortable. The exterior needed a leaf rake and a broom. The inn does seem to have a shortage of front desk staff. I always had to go looking for who ever was on duty. Overall this stay was quite satisfactory.
