White Stallion Ranch, Tucson

Only at the White Stallion Ranch can one find 3,000 acres of wide-open land at the foot of the ruggedly beautiful Tucson Mountains adjacent to the Saguaro National Park. This charming, working cattle ranch gives one a feeling of the Old West. Time here is one of real experiences and relaxation. One can enjoy western style horseback riding with wranglers, fine horses, and scores of scenic trails. From slow scenic rides through the Saguaro cactus to brisk fast rides, to exciting mountain rides, there is something for everyone. For the rugged few, weekly all day rides are a challenge and for the city slicker cowboy, team cattle penning is a taste of work on a cattle ranch. The guests can also enjoy hiking, tennis, basketball, volleyball, ping-pong, horseshoes, shuffleboard, billiards, an extensive collection of books in the library, a heated outdoor pool, and indoor redwood hot tub. A petting zoo has deer, miniature horses, llamas, potbellied pigs, and pygmy goats. The ranch is noted for delicious meals, cookouts, steak barbecues, and hayrides. Evening activities include moonlight bonfires with cowboy entertainment. There is a coin operated laundry facility available for guests. All rooms have free wireless high-speed Internet access, air-conditioning, full bath with tub and shower and a private patio. Some of the deluxe doubles have a fireplace or a whirlpool bath and have a connection to make a Deluxe Family Suite. The deluxe suites have a fireplace, whirlpool bath, and king bed. The guest rooms do not have TVs or telephones. TV is available in the main building. Per person rates include lodging, three meals daily, horseback riding and all ranch activities. Riding instruction, bar charges and spa services are not included in daily rates.Pets are not allowed.
