Gross! Gross! ... and did I mention Gross!
By frigginretard, 7/5/11
I wouldn't even give this place a rating if it wasn't a required field. The water in the picture is blue...however...the water in the actual pool is brown...and I do mean brown! This place is oversold...overcrowded...and unsafe. They had unsupervised children and completely stupid adults climbing the waterfalls...which they turn off at night...and then jumping from the top...into the 4' deep...open to the general non-staying public...overcrowded pool...at night. The place was completely unkempt with food and garbage everywhere. We had minors asking us to buy them alcohol and we couldnt get edible food...after 3 attempts...due to the Chefs desire to dump some form of gooey sauce on top of everything they serve. What a 4th of July weekend disaster...not to mention the never-ending price gouging. What's happening to America sure does suck...

Low Quality Service.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/29/11
The supervisory staff shows a complete lack of interest in your satisfaction and is not committed to excellence. How does the Hilton respond when things go bad? Horrible. My wife and I stayed recently thinking we were buying quality. The facility is pleasant, but it has seen better days. Our air conditioner had seen better days; broke down in the middle of the night. While the techs worked on it, we asked for a fan. It never came and fell asleep in the suite’s living room. Next day there was nobody to take my complaint. Left my info., nobody called. Contacted them (could only get voicemail) twice more, nobody called back. I managed to talk to a supervisor 13 days later and they basically said we are sorry but too bad. They won’t help you when things go bad. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

I cant wait to return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/18/11
Likes: My 8 year old daughter and I stayed for 5 nights in May 2010. It was such a great stay. The staff was great! Joe at the front was so helpful! I would love to stay there again. The River ranch was fun and the area surrounding the pool was clean. I appreciated that we also had a quiet pool by our room that my daughter could swim in when I did not want to be around many people and relax. The room was great for the price. I really appreciated the seperate bedroom so that I could relax after my daughter went to bed. Dislike: The sofa in the room was old and broke down.

Worst experience I have ever had.
By Erfan, 8/21/10
I would NOT recommend this hotel, I travel alot for business and I have to say this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There was mold around the edges of the bathtub, the room was very crampy, the set up was inconvenient, the customer service was the worst, I felt like there were bed bugs in my bed, they call you in the middle of the night to advertise their products, the waterslide was closed, they charge you for services you have not purchased, there is no free Wifi. And on top of all this the same happened to my co-worker. This place is not worth it. We won't stay here anymore.

Horrible time, Ruined our july 4 holiday
By mark, 7/6/10
We booked a casita that slept 6 for 3 nights over 2 weeks in advance, they gave us one that slept 4 than charged us 49$ for another room all the way across the grounds. On the second night they told us the room was not avalible. With no where for our son and fiance to stay we had to leave. Which was actually a blessing. The place was filthy, pool and Ranch Park were dirty and littered with garbage, cups, dishes and dirty towels. They made no attempt to clean it up. The staff was unprofessional, sloppy, and slow. Unfriendly. The roads were so lined with cars it made it difficult to get to your casita and unsafe. No emergency vehicle could make it back to the casitas. I'm sure it broke many many fire codes. Dirty dishes and trays lined the walkways around the rooms. It appeared to us that the place was just totally out of control. We actually saw a car load of people park and go to one of the pools in the back than get in their car and leave. It didn't look like they were staying anywhere in the resort. All in all the place was just a nasty disaster. There are so many nice places in Az to stay, this just isn't one of them!

Great Place for Family Vacation
By Steve Marks, 6/20/10
We went to this hotel/resort with our two children - ages 13 and 5. This place totally worked for us. Nice clean room with kitchenette - we stocked the fridge. The activities were very good too. Multiple pools, lazy river (a bit too lazy - slow flow), water slide and mini golf (nicer than I expected). The front desk folks were nice and responsive and the concierge was helpful. Our room got cleaned everyday while we were out. The property got more crowded later in the week, but it was never packed. I would totally recommend this place to my friends and to you as long as you are traveling with your family. This is not the place for a nice romantic getaway.

Wonderful Trip-A little short staffed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/12/10
We had a wonderufl trip to this hotel--resort. They have an amazing water slide/lazy river combined with a variety of pools. Yes, things can get busy, but we found quickly that if you time things right you have no problem getting a tube for the lazy river or great service at breakfast. Try getting a pool chair between 8-9 in the a.m. Also, if you get into the lazy river at that time it is super warm because the water is heated at night and it is not busy at all. We had to call the front desk twice for questions and had to wait about 3 minutes for someone to get off hold, and they did seem a bit short staffed in the resteraunts, but the people working worked hard and were very pleasant. I would love to go back to this resort. :)

Quite Dissapointed with the Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/3/09
My stay last weekend was average at best for a hotel of this level. The rooms are old and need help with the toilets flushing slowly, drains draining slowly, faucets leaking, and the refridgerator not working. The lazy river gets really backed up when busy, to the point of waiting in line. The pools could be a little cleaner. The miniature golf is worn out and the poles don't stick in the ground. Kids only eat free in the restaurants, not at poolside or room service. They dont allow food or drink in the pool areas, so get ready to fork out money for over priced beverages and food. They give you water stations at the pool but neglect to fill them up regularly. All in all I see it as an average hotel with a lot of potential. I don't recommend driving 5 hours from San Diego County for it though. Concerned Guest.
