Horrible Customer Service

I paid for a room on Saturday 3/15/08. After I received my keys, I left the Esplendor to my sister's house in Rio Rico. During the evening, on the same night, I forgot my wallet and room keys in my brothers car. Unknown to my brother that I left my wallet in his car, he departed Rio Rico to Tucson the same night with my wallet and room keys. Later on when we arrived at the Esplendor, I advised the desk clerks, that I did not have keys to get in my room. I explained everything that happened. They did not let me in my room because I did not have an I.D., (all my credit cards, picture I.D. were in my wallet). My room mate tried to use her debit card,(we share the same checking account, our debits cards have the same account number) but they did not let us do it. We tried to cancel and repay with her debit card but again they denied our request. In conclusion, we paid for a room and because I made a mistake of forgetting my wallet and room keys in my brothers car, we were not let into our room. we were charged for something we did not get. I spoke to Susan Conner, the Manager on at least 2 occassions. She stated that she would look into the incident. I tried to contact Susan at least 6 times and left messages since she never got back with me with the results of her research. My last message was for her to give me the name of another Manager that I could speak with because she was too busy. To this day, I have not heard from anyone at the Esplendor. I just want to make sure that if you rent a room at the Esplendor, make sure that they make a copy of your drivers license or another picture of I.D. just in case you lose your wallet or your car is broken into. I hope you do not have to go through the horrible experiece that we did. By the way, when we returned to Tucson and got my wallet and keys back , I mailed the Esplendor the room keys.
