7 reviews for Marriott Phoenix Mesa, Mesa
A pleasant surprise
By vegaskelly, 05/20/07
I was wary of staying here due to the negative reviews on this site but I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. We arrived four hours early for check in hoping they would have something ready for us and they sure did. It was a complimentary upgrade to the concierge floor. I am not sure if the rooms differ on this floor or not but it did give us access to the concierge lounge where they provide a fridge full of soda and water, chips, granola bars, coffee and fruit. They also had free cocktails and breakfasts there but we did not participate in those. The beds were insanely comfortable and we couldn't have asked for nicer service. We were in town for a wedding that was being held at the Mesa Convention center so the location was perfect! Given the option I would be sure to stay here again in a minute!

Director of Sales is Great
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/07/07
Linda (last name unknown) was terrific. She was able to accomodate our group at the last minute. She was able to provide us with things other hotels in the area wouldn't. So if you are planning a personal trip or a conference, this is the place to be. Linda went above and beyond to make my group of 88 feel like true and important guests!

Worst value for your money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/24/05
Over priced hotel, lousy staff with a chip on thier shoulders. The rooms were very comfortable, but had to pull teeth to ask any staff for any service !

It is safer to sleep in the street!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/11/05
If you want your clothes stolen stay here! On a recent stay newly bought clothes were stolen from my room. The desk clerked verified that only myself and the cleaning staff had entered the room. They went on to state that guests typically make such stories up and would not help me. The management then became combative with me on the phone and hung up. The only thing I had left to do was file a police report with local authorities. Not a good way to spend a business trip. I made sure to let everyone at my company know not to stay here and I figured you should know too.
