Horrendous night!

$90.00 room. - Worst room in 5 years! - Air Conditioner was 24" from bed, sounded like freight train and either blew directly on sleeper making them freeze or with a vent direction change did not cool the room. They use plastic sheet under mattress pad and rolling over in bed caused the matress pad and sheets to bunch up in lumps on bed. (Remade bed three times before 11:00 P.M. and then took off the plastic sheet (which is HOT!) and that helped. Complaint to Manager brought - " You should have taken a better room!"

Wonderful & Comfortable Lodge/Hotel

We had a delightful stay at this lodge in Payson. We had a room in the newer section and it was comfortable and clean. The location is right on the main road through town, easy to access, and close to restaurants, gas stations. The pool was clean and rarely crowded. The management was friendly and called several times during our 4-day stay to make sure everything was to our liking. There is free Internet access in the lobby. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay here very much. We will definitely be back in the summer!

GO ELSEHWERE--AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Worst motel stay we have ever had, and we travel frequently. First, the motel got the reservations wrong and tried to charge us for a night we weren't even in the state. Second, the rooms were in poor condition--hole in the wall, unpainted wall patches, cracked and peeling caulk in the bathrooms w/ mildew stains, build-up caked on the shower heads, torn and shredded carpet, broken handles on the poorly-fitting window shutters (yes, shutters, no curtains), uncomfortable beds and unclean linens; We checked in at 1:00AM, got to bed by 1:30AM, and housecleaning was knocking on our door at 9:00AM wanting to come in! We told them to come back later--so they did at 10:00am!! Check out wasn't until 11:00AM!!! And when we complained to management, they acted as though that was normal. What a waste of money--I wouldn't go back if it was given to me for free.
