I enjoyed this hotel very much!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/7/10
There's a good person and bad person. There's a bad memory and a good memory. but, I really enjoyed with this hotel.Staffs are very kind with smile. They gave good infos for Grand Canyon & Sedona Hiking, Havasu Falls,Petrified Forest and Monument Valley.Cont.i -Breakfast was excellent. They provided hot egg sandwiches ,bananas and apples.Their service and amenities (such as pool and spas) was wonderful.I also enjoyed fresh mountain air(Phytoncide) and Forest(Pine) Bath in this hotel compound.

worse possible hotel you can find in U.S
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/10
Mounttain Side Inn in William County is the worse hotel that I have never live in. I have been travel to many places and lived in hotel often. Mountain Side Inn was the worse one compare with all others. I spent over one hour to try to solve problem with reservation with the hotel manager. Because the hotel look very dirty after my family arrival, the hotel do not provide refregiator, the light was broke, brakfast with dirty cereal bowl, the carbet smells bad, the manager would not like to return the reservation. They do have any star for my evaluation.

Bad Experience
By Elliott, 4/3/10
The heater in the room did not work, and the hot water was limited. Paint was cracking in the bathroom and the room overall was very disappointing.

Disappointment!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/26/07
Pros: Spacious room, comfortable king-sized bed, inexpensive Cons: Broken window allowed cold air into the room all night. Had a non-smoking room yet bed cover had numerous cigarette burn holes and smelled musty. No vent in bathroom (or heat).

Bad Service!!!
By Amazonia, 7/17/07
We were there for a wedding in town. Our group had a bunch of rooms. One person was rude to nearly everyone in our party. She was rude when people checked in, she was rude when we had problems with our key cards, she was rude a week before when the people who set this up went up to check on the rooms (they had lost some of the reservations). "She was too busy to deal with them". I tried calling the General Manager to get this resolved and she said she would take care of it by sending out a "letter of apology" (never happened), and by calling the Parents of the Bride (who set up everything) and apologize to them (which again never happened). I would not recommend this place to my enemies let alone my friends.

Very Satisfactory
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/7/07
Our room was clean and newly painted. Service was excellent. There were a few minor inconveniences due to the fact that the Inn was just opening up for the season, but those inconveniences were remedied immediately upon reporting them. We were part of a group that had a banquet at Ms. Kitty's Steak house. The banquet was the most organized that I have experienced. The food was excellent, and even hot, when it was served. The service was the best and friendliest that I have ever experienced at any banquet

Alfred Hitchcock missed this one
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/24/06
Make no mistake Williams is a great place. We could have gone almost anywhere else and loved it. We arrived the weekend of the Cruisers Route 66 meeting so options were limited. The desk clerk was a tactiurn, even morose individual who spun off the same restriction littered banter to every guest, even those who overheard the patter for the previous person booking in. Occasionally you could drag him away from the History of the War of Independence. Otherwise you are on your own. The rooms were very basic and there was a smell of drains. The ice machine is in the owner's kitchen and you have to stand your ground to shift him off his rear end to get you some. You could say it had atmoshere. It had an atmoshere - given the Route 66 location, right out of a hitchcock moie

Wouldn't recommend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/6/06
The room that allows pets was a mess. The carpet was dirty and stained and the chair was broken. The cable was out and there were only two channels with lots of static. I can understand that when you travel with pets, you may not always get the best room, but this was so bad I didn't even want my dogs to sit on the floor. I do have to say that the staff was nice. As far as the area, the grounds were nice and there were woods next door with walking trails, so that was nice for the dogs.
