Budget Lodge-Phoenix, Phoenix

I was in Phoenix for a Convention at the Phoenix Convention Center. This hotel was close to the event, plus, the room was clean, spacious & comfortable. Best of all the price was reasonable. The staff were wonderful. I already know that next year I will stay at the Budget Lodge again. DeDe Markin, Tucson

Loved the place. Staff is very courteous always having a welcoming smile, even the little fish. This is the 3rd time I've stayed there and never have been disappointed. Motel is located right in the middle of downtown. Can't beat the price!!!!

The Budget Lodge is located near the motels used by area entrepreneurs to conduct business activities which typically require hourly room rentals. In stark contrast, the Budget Lodge does not rent rooms by the hour, nor do they permit guests. In fact, the words NO GUESTS are imprinted upon every surface capable of receiving print, including the clerk's forehead. Once past the prison motif, you'll find that the rooms are very clean and in good repair; the general condition far exceeded that in a number of $100-120/night hotels in which I've stayed. The staff is courteous and cheerful. I stayed there while interviewing for a job (it's walking distance to downtown), and plan on staying there again while some remodeling is being done on my house. I'd definitely recommend it as long as you're not looking for high style or the ability to bring guests.
