Clean large rooms - great breakfast! And what Hotel gives you a Soup & Salad Bar w/small dinner entree? This place is amazing - check in, park, and walk a short distance to a homemade dinner which was the best meal we had across the country and included in the price! We'll be back!

I read the reviews online at this website and still booked a room there. We had stayed there earlier in Nov 2007 and it was fantastic. We made reservations again for 2/27/08 and the place was even better than before! They have white down duvets on their beds - so warm and comfy - we thought we were staying at a Hilton! In the evening they serve free Hot Soup (it's great, taste like homemade) and have a small salad bar with excellent selections, nice and crisp veggies! This small hotel is more than a value - we don't know how they do it, but we met several frequent guests while we enjoyed the Soup & Salad - other guests said they plan their trips to come to this hotel for the relaxing atmosphere, staff and the cleanilness. Also, the Hot Breakfast in the morning is good - hot waffles and eggs and meat!

When I checked into this hotel for a two night stay, I found that the air conditioning was not functioning in my room. During August in Arizona, this is an important item. I called the front desk, and after about an hour, they moved me to to another room, which did have functional air. The next day the air conditioning in that room failed too. This hotel is not being maintained, and isn't worth your money.

This hotel used to be a good place to stay, but has declined in facility upkeep, quality, and staff competence. On check-in, I was assigned to two rooms that were already occupied. Not good from a security standpoint. The third room had no electricity. Hallways were dirty, and the pool bottom was filled with sand. Staff was not helpful and unapologetic about conditions of the hotel and room assignment problems. Also beware: non-smoking rooms don't necessarily mean they are free from smoke. Price is relatively reasonable, but not worth the hassle. I've stayed here twice, and was unhappy both times. Stay elsewhere.
