Thieves!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/19/10
Booked online for one room and one night. Everything appeared ok until I received my credit card bill. In summary, was charged twice. Management and Owner said we booked two rooms, however, not my confirmation email nor upon checkin was any of that stated. Their response was, "There is nothing we can do." We tried to settle the issue, however, they are not even returning our calls at this point. Have contacted Better Business Bureau. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! They are no better than thieves in my book!!! I will never stay at a Ramada again.

NEVER EVER EVER STAY AT THIS RAT TRAP
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/9/09
I was driving back from Washington DC and stopped at this hotel becasue it was a RAMADA INN. I thought RAMADA stood for quality and I usually stay at Ramada when traveling. However I could not have been more wrong. When I entered my room with my daughter age 11, son age 4 and pregnant wife and went in to the bathroom it was the most horid smell I could have imagined. It smelled like urine and other bodily fluids. The bathtub had about a inch thick of dirt and grim at the bottom of the tub. I notified the person on duty and she asked me what she wanted me to do about it. I told her to at least switch rooms. Sheasked if we messed up the room. I said no. She said she was only worried about it because she had to clean or remake the beds and that seemed to really upset her. Her name was Pamela Straw. She gave us another room. This one smelled like a ash tray. I was told by Ms Straw upon check in there was no smoking in the hotel and it was enforced. I told her we could not stay in the ash tray room because my wife was pregnant. She just looked annoyed at me abd I went back to the original filthy room. She did not apologize or anything. We stayed in what I believe to be the filthiest room in the universe. I have been to hotels in at least 10 different countries in my military career and this one was the worst. Everything from the the telephone to the ice machine also seemed to be broke. In the morning at check put I talked to hte desk clerk to find out who was on duty last night and she kept playing games and told me her name was Shawn. She also laughed when I explained to her about my room. In my opinion this hotel was the filthiest I ever stayed in. I also talked to other guest who say that there rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis. my room had not been cleaned in days. Also I have never seen a hotel crew so uncaring. Every time I talked to someone it was like I was bothering them.

GROSS!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/19/08
The bathroom is HORRIBLE. When I asked for an extra blanket, it smelled of smoke. The romote to the TV did not work. The pool had a cover over it and the cover had mud caked up on it. The bed smelled of body odor. We could not sleep because of the worrying about bed bugs, so we left way before sun-rise. Worst experience ever at a hotel!

New GM New Attitude
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/25/07
Friendly Staff. Great GM. Making a super effort to improve the hotel after bad managaement. Great courtyard pool. Close to highways to get around the city. The main building rooms are a bit nicer than the wing building. FREE realiable internet access. pretty dang good FREE continental breakfast.

TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/14/06
After negotiating a group price with a manager, I arrived to find out that the new manager would not honor my contract. They overcharged my credit card and it too MONTHS to get the problem cleared up. Also right after Katrina, the manager was overcharging hurricane victims and even kicked a family out of their rooms when they could not pay the excess charge. Do not let the good location fool you.

Nasty!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/05
This place is NASTY with a capital N!!! First they tried to give me a smaller room when I had made my reservations a year ago. Then room was the pitts. When we took a shower, black-sut material came up over the shower mat. The beds were at least 100 years old and there is no telling when they ever wash the pillows and bedspreads...probably never. Our microwave and TV broke, but the staff didn't care. I sent Ramada a complaint about this place. They informed me that this Ramada is individually owned and forwarded my complaint to this person. This person sent me a letter and said he was sorry, but he saw where I did end up staying there. I hate to burst the man's bubble, but it was a football weekend and there was absolutely no where else to go except home. Otherwise I promise I would have been the heck out of that toilet hole. I cannot believe Ramada allows it to use it's sign. Filthy!!!!

If you want a good night sleep...I suggest you go elsewhere
By Kim B, 7/28/05
Well I'm younger, so I definitely liked the fact that there is a club (Jade) right next to it.I read someone elses review and he was correct... It is "crunk" out there until the morning light! Thats one good thing about the hotel. But on the other hand, the beds were sort of low and not comfortable. So I probably wouldn't go back unless I plan on going to the club again so I won't have that far to go.

Worst hotel experience ever.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/1/05
The club attached to the hotel (actually part of the hotel but the hotel claimed to have no association with the club or it's management) had traffic in and out of the parking lot up until 4:00 AM. This traffic took over the hotel parking lot and basically circled in the parking lot playing their music wide open with their windows down. People were hanging out in the parking lot drinking yelling back and forth to one another. I'm not against drinking and having fun, but this was beyond pathetic. I was told by someone who worked there that this was pretty much an every weekend occurence. People complained all the time. If you get on the right side of the hotel, you would never know this was going on. If you get on the wrong side, your in trouble.
