Wonderful After Night Before

We were totally happy. Stayed at Family Inn night before--bad experience! Holiday Inn clean, very attractive, comfortable, properly outfitted with amenities, including coffee in room,linens, iron, hair dryer, etc. We were concerned because we had read bad reviews, but decided to try it when we saw notice on web that all public areas had been renovated in March 07. They evidently were truthful. We were doubly pleased because we had a travel coupon and the price was little more than half what we paid for a very inadequate room the night before.
 
 
 
 
 
A disapointment

The pictures on the web site are very deceiving. The rooms were filthy. The carpet and walls were stained. When we checked into our room it had not been cleaned. The beds were made, but dirty cups and towels were on the floor. We had to go back down to the front desk and get another room. I will never stay here again unless it is cleaned up. Room service trays and a crib were also left out in the hallway for two days before being removed. This was really gross!!!

As bad as it gets.

We had confirmed reservations with a credit card to hold the room. I had requested a king, non-smoking room. When we got there, they did not have a king, non-smoking room for us. They only had 2 double beds room. We showed them the printed confirmation to which we were told MEANT NOTHING AT ALL. To say the least we found another hotel that was cheaper and had a king non-smoking room.
