Comfort Inn & Conference Center, Longwood

We had booked the conference room for a business seminar and were going to stay a week. Managementg did not even show us being on the "books" for the confrence and then we found BLACK MOLD in the bathroom. Upon complaining we were shown 4 other rooms that were progressively worse - the last one having BLACK MOLD on the wall in the bathroom. Mangement kicked us out in middle of conference after interupting us and telling everyone we had not paid - yet they charged my boss 3x on his CC. THE WORST HOTEL STAFF EVER. Housekeeping cannot clean a room to save their life. We found sharp objects in the floor. The phone cord came off the phone while we were trying to make a call. The management staff was rude and without standards. I am telling everyone I know NEVER to stay at this hotel and we are reporting them to Florida Health Commission.

To begin, the hotel states no pets when we found a snake in the room. Others who accompanied found there rooms dirty upon check in. Management was very rude and unprofessional. Upon checking out, later we discovered they charged an extra $100 dollars to more than 10 family member credit cards for damaged towels and comforters. This sounds like fraud and we will never stay there again.

Manager maintains high standards of service and this is not your typical Comfort Inn. If you're looking for a reasonably priced site for a meeting or wedding reception, you might be pleasantly surprised with the decor and quality of service. Staff, however, is limited, but more personal than some of the big hotels.

First of all the King beds are comfortable, however rooms are too small. If you have a room w/ king bed, the pull out couch does not allow you to open door to room to get out, especially in an emergency. Too much noise from visitors outside room. Breakfast buffet not so good. I have been to better stocked , better selections, and better tasteing. Coffee was watered down, dry ceral was below grade, rasins were hard as rocks. Had to ask for more towels, saying that was all they had left. Second day after room was cleaned did not leave towels for third person.Pull out couch had not been openned for awhile, had debris and dirt lodged on mattress. Front desk person was kind and courteous.
