Location, Location, Location.
This property is a true gem and yes, size does matter. This isn't a big hotel stretched across the beach, but a lovely village nestled together between lush gardens and the beautiful reef. Individual bungalows allow for privacy in paradise while the small onsite restaurant/bar promotes general merryment! The beach on this property is gorgeous and perfect for a bit of the snorkly and kayak adventures (masks, fins and kayaks available to guests free of charge). This location is by the way, the only portion of the Rarotongan reef with octopus. The rooms have small kitchens, it would be wise to ensure that the appliances work in your room at point of reservation. It takes awhile for repair, island time. If you need internet service, utilize the services in town (Avarua). The PG is costly and the connection is poor. I spent NZ$40 emailing only to have it freeze up and not send. I really can't complain about paradise. And last, but not least, the staff are absolutly wonderful, warm, funloving people. Kia Orana!
