I just wanted to say that I don't know about the past reviews on this site, or who was managing the hotel at that time, but this was a great hotel. From the staff to the new carpet to the comfortable bed, to the free hot breakfast. This place was great!!

Original reservations made for a block of rooms 13 weeks in advance. First reservations made with night clerk - after 45 minutes on the phone, all data accidentally deleted instead of saved. Told to call back the next day and speak with the manager. Called manager four times the next morning and early afternoon. Finally called 800 number to get reservations. Arrived on Friday, had been told we had until noon Saturday to cancel second night's reservation - no such luck. Had to pay for second night. Inconsistency in what different front desk clerks told individuals about rooms, arrival/departure times, guarantees, etc. One person in our party didn't have a room when they showed up after six - had called and given credit card number previously. They did find him another room at another hotel. Hotel is old and tired - worn furniture, worn carpet, worn finishes. Discovered stained fitted sheet (stained at top of sheet by pillow - should have been apparent to housekeeping). When discovered, no one in housekeeping to come change the sheets - we got the sheet and changed it ourselves. (To his credit, the desk clerk did offer to come up and change it for us.) No sheets in room for pull-out bed - another call to front desk. At midnight, dog barking in hallway - called the front desk to inquire - this was the first time we were notified the hotel was "pet-friendly". (Problem with people with allergies.) Next morning - more barking, different dog. Left the next morning, came back to retrieve lost article of clothing - beds had been stripped - no one in housekeeping spoke enough English to understand what I was asking. Management did finally find article of clothing, which was appreciated. Nice people at front desk - very polite. Ineffective, inconsistent management. Old and tired hotel. Extremely disappointing experience. So much so that we will never stay in another Choice Hotel - anywhere. Advertise 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed - not sure what exactly what that means. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstances.

The Kids that were on the third floor of the hotel for the soccer tournament were noisy I will give you that. However it was before 9:00 PM and the manager did come and make all of the kids go to their rooms. He then patrolled the halls to make sure it stayed that way. I know because my child was on the third floor and was in bed by 9:30.
