Poor Desk service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/17/10
I am so glad that front desk clerk working at night is gone. Now that my husband has to stay at this motel on a regular basis. I recently stayed there with him over night, it was nasty. do they wash there beds? I know that there are a lot of men staying there on after another, and when I came to investigate it was nasty. I slept in my clothes. And now that the desk clerk at night is not working there maybe things will change. Her constant flirting and calling the homes of the men that have to stay there will be over. She complained constantly about the work she was required to do. Makes me wonder what was she really doing. Public safety is a factor here. I may stay again just to see if things change. there are also bugs and its noisy .. I hope to reevaluate and be able to review again.

Thought it would be much better
By Jess, 1/4/09
The only thing I liked about the hotel is that it was right of I-70. The things that I disliked were there was urine on the toilet seat, crumbs of some kind on the bathroom floor, there was no tub just a stand up shower, the toiletry was like ruff paper towels, the carpet was very dirty also with crumbs on it, the room was very small usually when u ask for a room with two beds u get two queens, but they were fulls so a family with four people is pretty ruff to fit. The breakfast was very good except nobody was around to clean off tables or take out the trash as it was over filled. like I said the location was great but everything else was very degrading sorry.

Disappointing.
By Colleen Wolpert, 3/8/08
We have stayed at several Sleep Inns and will continue to do so, but this one was a disappointment primarily due to the woman at the front desk and the layout of the building. The woman at the front desk was immature in many ways (e.g., saying 'poopy' a few times; 'I could get in trouble, but..' as she smoked in front of the building) and gave us an inappropriate room for our needs as she didn't listen. She did switch us to a larger room. We figured out too late that there was a smoking room across from our non-smoking room which led to our room having smoke in it. I coughed throughout the night. There was a TV dinner left in our fridge, so it was obvious that wasn't checked. And the fridge was very noisy all night. I filled out the comment card and planned to mail it in, but there was no address on the comment card nor on-line. Otherwise, I would have address this to the Sleep Inn directly. Hopefully, they will get this eventually. Sorry to be so negative.

GREAT place. Fantastic breakfast. Pool is right next to the Jacuzzi ... rooms are clean, everything's new, TV is GREAT, got internet up and running no problem, bedding is luxurious high thread-count, REAL Blankets & comforter ... Shower's awesome. A+++ experience.

I reccomend it.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/6/07
When heading home to Virginia from Ohio, we stopped here for the night. We expected this to be an average hotel, but it was much more. The service was great and many shops and restaurants were in within walking distance. The hotel was clean and the indoor pool was a bonus. If in Hagerstown, stay here.

Had a great stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/5/07
We stayed here on our way home to VA. It had a nice indoor pool and breakfast buffet. It was also located near restaurants and shops. The staff was kind and attentive.
