Alvisse Park Hotel, Luxembourg

Nobody told us that the hotel pool is also open to the public and we had trouble parking amongst very noisy groups playing car stereos loudly. The reception staff treated us more as an inconvenience than a valued customer. The bedroom had beeding that was stained and with cigarette burn marks, there were cigarette holes burnt through the chairs provided. There is a lot of building work causing noise and dust. The bathroom was very poorly equipped and was probably Ok for a 1 or 2 star guesthouse (small bath, hand held shower, tatty curtain). Breakfast was OK but not to the same standards of other 4 star hotels visited. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.
