Staying at this hotel was a horrible experience from the rude and arrogant front desk staff to the mold and unsanitary conditions of the hotel room bathroom. The bathroom in our room smelled like an open sewer and the bathtub (with no shower curtain) was ringed with black mold. It was disgusting. The "continental" breakfast was this side of gross and I was tongue lashed in Italian for indicating that the breakfast buffet needed rolls.
If you have children do not stay here. The windows have no screens and open up with the turn of a handle. A young child could easily fall out of the window.
I stayed at this hotel in May 2004. This was a nice hotel, the room was clean and comfortable, but a bit small (two twin beds). The hotel was under construction during my stay. The room I had was under the lobby and was very noisy. (Make sure not to get that room.) The staff was moderatly friendly. The location was not bad but had to take two metro's to get into the city center. They did have internet service which was very handy but you had to buy a prepaid card to use. There are some very nice little resturants in the immediate area.
