BEST WESTERN Globus Hotel, Rome

The hotel is not as central as they claim but the bus and Metro is very near and easy to use. The breakfast is very nice and more than what most offer. What sets it apart is the staff. Simple amazing, helpful and friendly. there is not enough they can do for you and that includes looking for favours that really are not their concern such as translating and on one occasion the manager letting me have his lighter. I small tip when staying, the smoking rooms are the old ones and while nice enough really pale in comparison to the non smoking. Considering they all have balconies take the non smoking as you will probable end up on the balcony to enjoy your smoke anyway.Oh ans the free mini bar and massage shower went down well too.

The rooms are neat, bright and cosy.The athmosphere is very friendly- it is not a luxurious place (even cost effective)- but it makes you feel as you are at home... Probably due to the hotel staff-very amiable and helpful persons at the reception and at the bar. And the breakfasts are amazing... The location of the hotel, though, is a bit away from the center, but you can get by bus no 310. to the Bus Terminal and go from there anywhere you like. I can fairly say I enjoyed staying in this hotel.

I was stole at my room on this hotel. When I went to take my breakfast someone enter in my room and stole my money. I lost about 250 euros. My wife realized one day that it may was missing some money, so we counted the money on the night, we did not leave the room more, then we went to breakfast and when we came back was missing 50 euros, and we think they took money all the other nights too. The staff said they could do nothing about because a lot of people work at the hotel. So here is my complain and be aware of indicating hotels that stole for their guests.
