Fawlty Towers

There is a vast difference between the hotel description and my experience.
Ideal for a refreshing night's sleep and tastefully finished with rich fabrics, the Tara Towers Hotel's 111 value-for-money rooms are a real treat when staying in Dublin.
Anything but a treat the tired rooms at the Tara Towers have stained and dirty carpets and walls. Complete with broken furniture and handless drawers the look is finished by torn white bed linen.(room 611)
Large en-suite marble bathrooms with power showers and deep bathtubs can be found in every room.
Not in mine, a very small bath fitted with trickle shower and non-drain sink.
Getting on with your work is also very easy in these attractive rooms, due to the large writing desk. back legs cut off to make it fit.
A glorious view of Dublin Bay can be enjoyed from some rooms, providing a picturesque backdrop to your Dublin break or business trip.
A picturesque view if the kitchen roof, ventilation shafts and rubbish bins completes the backdrop to my break.
