Felt Like Home

We had a wonderful experience at the Arbutus, they took care of everything. The reception is area cozy and warm, just like the staff. The pub was great, they had traditional Irish music and the people where friendly how could you not like it there. The breakfast where great, and the staff again where right there to take care of your every need. We hated to leave. And on top of all that the location couldn't be better, once your checked in, take a stoll and see the sights. Well worth the money.

My first time in killarnay

i had a great time in the arbutus hotel a year and a half ago and they rooms were lovely the reception and corridors were very clean but the receptionists were a bit snappy and ignorant from time to time. that didnt bother me tho, other than that i had a great stay at the arbutus and its right in the city centre so i was right beside everything, shops pubs restaurants take-aways etc. its a lovely historic building and i really enjoyed it. im definately going back there again

Great Hotel

Great location and friendly staff. Pub was excellent and music toe-tapping. Would stay again. Room was spacious and clean. Meals tasty and food plentiful. Guinness always good..

WE WILL BE BACK !!!!!!!!!

It was time for a short break from the daily routine so my wife and I decided to make the short trip from Limerick to Killarney for the weekend. We are deffo going back and the Arbutus is one of the main reasons. Rarely have we so enjoyed a stay in a hotel. The staff are so attentive and cheerful it is a pleasure to behold. And if you want to know what the ska and the craic is then the excellent barstaff will fill you in as if you were a local. Great rooms, great hotel, superb staff. To say it with the Terminators own words : WE WILL BE BACK!!
