BATH EXQUISITE HOTEL & SPA
We just returned from a blissful long weekend in Bath and staying at the exquisite Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa. Everything was 5 star worthy of this magnificent hotel. Our incredible suite overlooked the seven hills of Bath, so reminiscent of Rome. The rooms were sublime with cozy, canopied bed and fireplace in the sitting room. The service was flawless and the staff were happy and a pleasure to speak with. The concierge arranged an incredible tour guide/driver (Peter we love you!) to take us to Stonehenge (45 mins. away) and tour the surrounding countryside. Five star status should be given to the chef. Astounding meals all!!...lunch, dinners and room service...just incredible and fresh! The garden is beautiful to sit and relax. Just a walk down the path is The Baths where lovely and knowledgeable spa professionals ease the stress from muscles and skin. I had a fantastic wrap and my husband had a "Man's Facial". A relaxing pool with cold and hot tubs nearby are so magnificent, you won't want to leave. If all this wasn't enough, the Royal Crescent owns a gorgeous mahogany canal boat. Blaine (we adore you), the retired Royal Navy office and endearing Captain of this beautiful boat plays tour guide and host to a luncheon while he navigates you through one of the area's many canals. This hotel is a must if you have the finances! We will be returning many times and with our son next visit.
