Enjoyed the stay, pretty good for the money.
By ,
Good for a Couple. A 10 min walk from tons of shops. Also right next to a Tesco (small grocery). The staff was friendly. Arrived at 8:30 am, so room wasn't ready, but was able to get key for gym/spa room, which had a shower. After walking by the shops, room was ready around midday. Our room (M1) was One queen, clean, decent mattress and Nice size bath, with semi fogged glass doors, but has clear strips where you can see straight in, especialy when doing "paper work" or showering. TV was good. But room has NO central air (popular in UK/Europe). Opening a window is as close as it gets. Was able to have room service to big a desk fan. Luckly outside temp was only 60f. Room service food was good, I higly reccomend to Chunky Chips. Compared to a US hotel, would rank a 3.5 star at best, but nothing was wrong or dirty with the room. Room came with breakfast. Also was near tube spot and a great spot for Taxi and bus. We used a Taxi everywhere we went and never had higher than 15 pounds per oneway trip. Only a couple of blocks from Tourist Bus/sight seening bus tours. used that for 2 days to get around to major sights. Mac Donalds on the street too for those die hard nugget fans, couple of near by resturants too. Pretty good location to all locations.

We would stay here again

The hotel is perfect for visiting all attractions, Baker street underground and bus stops close by. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The concierge and restaurant manager were exceptional. The only negative thing was the rooms were not very big, and the air conditioning unit outside of our window was very noisy. Other than that it was perfect.

A great find!
By ,
I loved staying at this hotel. It is quaint and has a warm feeling. It was a little off the beaten path so it was fairly quiet. The room and bathroom were clean. I enjoyed eating the complimentary continental breakfast each morning. The staff was pleasant and helpful although a little upity. There is a convenience store a few shops away which was great for late night snacks. It is a quick walk to the tube station which was great for my husband and I since we ride the tube everywhere when we're in London. I would stay here again.

I stayed in this hotel a couple weeks ago... and it totally sucked!...The hotel itself wasn't too horrible, except for the see through glass doors on the bathroom which made it nearly impossible to travel with a family. The beds in the hotel where absolutely the most horrible that i've ever slept on, and hardly got any sleep that week at all. Not only that, but the service was absolutely horrid! The bar that they had downstairs was always filled with all these fra-dee-la people, and it looked totally like a gay bar!!... Also, if you came in wearing something like jeans for example, you were frowned upon. Besides that, you also had to try and justify that you were staying at the hotel, i'm sorry but when you're on vacation, you don't need to be hastled about if you're actually staying at that hotel or not. Just because you may not look rich, doesn't mean you aren't or you don't have the money to be there!.. Overall total value of this hotel was horrible, service was horrible... About the only good thing about this hotel was that it was in a semi-good location, other then the fact that it took about 25 minutes to find because the front of it is so small. It was about a 5 mins walk from the tube station and about the only thing in the area was the wax museam and the planetarium, but the tube station was not bad to get around on, so really the location was made decent because of the great services of the tube stations.
