Everything is old for your convinience never stay here

This hotel was very old and the decor has not been updated in 30 years. The bed was the hardest, most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in, I woke up with a terrible backache every morning. I will definitely not stay here again next time I visit.

Everything worked perfectly: room service, internet, international TV,amazing remote control of lights and air conditioning, wake-up call, large room, beautiful lobby, excellent location near major shopping areas, banks and gourmet restaurants. We definitely recommend it.

Excellent, very courteous Staff, that do their best to meet all your requests. Excelent meal choices in restaurants. Very quiet,comfortable and well appointed room. I felt at home.

For someone who came to explore Sao Paulo location of hotel is very bad -business area and NOTHING INTERESTING YOU CAN FIND THERE ! It's far away from the city center, restaurants and shoping malls !!! Only good thing about hotel is that it's really quite place so if you need to rest - this hostel is definatelly for you but try to avoid any contact with people that works there ! Inside pool IS VERY SMALL AND DIRTY !!! So be careful when you read some reviews here about it !!! But the worst thing about hotel is stuff they have, RECEPTIONISTS very rude !!! They will lie to you even if you ask about places of interest in the city ! Be careful when you get "informations" about transportation ! They will try to cheat you and take your money thanks to connections they have with local taxi drivers !!! Strange people for sure ! They lied to me and my colleague about bus transfer for the airport and wanted us to take expensive taxi instead of the bus -THAT YOU HAVE ALMOUST EVERY HOUR from hotel to the airport, even very earliy in the morning ! When I discovered that receptionist tried to cheat me, I complaned and he started to quarrel with me !!! So I wanted to speak with manager and complane about this rude behaving and after so much time I finally got manager on the phone (!) -there was no responsabile manager in hotel at 10 PM ?!!!) and most horrible thing is that he said he is sorry for the inconvineance and that he can do me a favor: to arrange a taxi for me at the time I need ! I said :Ok, are you going to pay taxi for me since your stuff distoyed my holiday in Sao Paulo? He replied : I am sorry, we can not cover it ! So I said -I do not need your FAVOR to call me a taxi- I can do it myself, by I prefer to use shuttle bus !!! Dear All, I'm travelling a lot throughout the world, and I am really not to demanding person, but my stay in Maksoud Plaza in May 2007 was the worst experience I every had ! Therefore,my recommendation is to stay FAR AWAY FROM MAKSOUD PLAZA !!! Greetings from Europe !

I was tking a visitor to my room and the front desk demand money for teh visitor to visit me this was on 27 or 28 may teh night shift Guy. The pool dirty and the claim to have free internet but it dont work and teh charge 15US per night for internet in the room. room service was good

Maksoud Plaza coudn't be more conveniently located: in the core of the financial district in Sao Paulo and a stone throw's away from Paulista Avenue (like New York's 5th Avenue) and with easy access to downtown and first-class shopping experience. The hotel features first-class amenities including first-class international restaurants. On Saturdays don't miss the "feijoada"--Brazilian's to-die-for culinary specialty. Oh, one doesn't drink wine with feijoada, but rather the local "caipirinha". If you stay at the Maksoud once, you're guaranteed to come back!

The Maksoud Hotel is very well located in the heart of the city and in a quite calm and safe area. Service is done with kindness. Breakfast is of good quality. Rooms have very nice views of this beautiful city and they're well cleaned. I recommend this hotel for all!

The hotel has its own personality. You don�t feel as if you were in a artificial environment, but in a sophisticated yet friendly and cozy home, where service and food quality excels!
