Hotel Plaza Paitilla Inn, Panama City

I stay at this hotel every time I am in Panama. This is the best value in the city. Prices on hotels has gone up in the past three years including this hotel at around $100-135 a night. The one place that I can get a good night sleep in the city. Most hotels service is bad in Panama, not his one. This hotel is older, but in good shape, a new pool bar area is cool. This area of the city is very safe. Close to airport,expect to pay $25.00 for taxi to and from airport.

Plaza Paitilla Inn.. WOW.. I was just there from 4/3 to 4/9. Great Location, Great Service, Great Staff, Nice rooms, nice Pool. Everyone there is helpful when asked a question. They had a great restaurant with great prices. Room was very nice with a nice view... even if it's on the side overlooking the street. The only things that I could think that need a little tiny improvement would be.... The beds.. they need softer mattress and they could improve on the AC units.. maybe just a bit more quieter :). Overall, next time I visit PANAMA I will def stay there. Thanks for eveything Paitilla.. Very close to all main locations, clubs, bars, fast food, malls, downtown, pharmacies, etc etc..

it wuz cool ,the beds extremely comfy n' the rooms were spacious and beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!it wuz ritght across from the multicentro mall (the biggest mall in central america)

About the Paitilla Inn... Nice hotel in the centre of the city offering an attractive value compared to all the brand new surrounding hotels. The paitilla Inn still has a relative good standard although it is getting older. Morevoer as it is a glass tower, you will need strong A/C not to cook in your room, and sadly the appliances are a bit noisy and disturbing. But for the price, it offers you a very good reason to stay in the Heart of the city...

What I liked from the hotel is the service I got and the peacefulness. There is also a good mall located right across the hotel, and many other businesses. Transportaion form the hotel is available and the driver speaks English, and is very honest. Next year I am returning.

This hotel was a little gem in the rough. It was a little rough when I stayed there, during the remodel. The room rate was $35.00 per night. The location is great. It has low noise factor going for it. It is located near all services a mall, night clubs, restuarants. The front desk is helpful with English. I would stay again for $35.00 - $40.00. A lot of hotels in Panama at this price are real dogs. So, this is a good find. Ciao, Dennis

We enjoyed the hotel because of its location. Compare to the other hotels in Via Espana, this hotel is very quiet and romantic. You can relax at the poolside with your children where the water is clean and clear, and supervised. The balcony view is breathtaking. The walks early in the morning, or at night time were without fear. The courtesy from the people at the front desk, in the restaurant, and at the bar was well acknowledged. Finally, we especially enjoyed our stay at the hotel because of its distance from the hustle and busle of the city lights.

I have stayed at many hotels around the World and for the price it is fantastic. The swimming pool was very clean, the restaurant had a great variety of foods and very fresh, the service was great and we are schedule to return for the holidays, that is how good this place is.

We stay @ this Hotel every time we visit Panama city, is very centric and it was remodel a while back.

Great price, $49 corporate rate. Hotel is equal to a Holiday Inn. It is not new but the rooms have been updated. Great location, if you can get a view of the water grab it. Hotel was clean, maybe not to the standards of a Marriott in the states but for $49 it is quite a deal. Breakfast in the hotel resturant not great but the fruit was fantastic.
