If you're looking for the best-value budget hotel in Acapulco, this is it. Also, if you're travelling with kids in tow (three in our case) then this is the perfect choice because you can request three double-beds for a small additional cost. Rooms run between $60-90 Dollars. The hotel has three tennis courts (hourly charge of $5 per court and is conveniently located two blocks from the beach and about three blocks from the main disco area in the "Zona Dorada". There's a small shopping center annexed to the hotel building and another one off to the side, but the real budget shopping in Acapulco is found in the main square, or "Zocalo" area. The service is much better than most of the overpriced hotels in Acapulco and you don't have to ward off every type of salesman selling stuff you don't need or want at every turn. The pool is fine. The hotel's bar only opens during peak weekends. Basically, if you're on a budget and want to get the best value for the money you spend and still be able to enjoy a very decent hotel with great service and no strings attached, you've found your next hotel destination in Acapulco.
