Club Internacional de Cancun, Zona Hotelera

At first we were happy to be at VCI for only a week but had to change to two weeks by the third trip! It was truly a home away from home for my sister and me. The villa was perfect and the staff was spectacular. With all of the people they see each year, it was amazing that they truly remembered us when we returned, even after just our first trip - right down to what drinks we would order at pool side! It was with great sadness that the time share we had been renting had run its course, and we left VCI after our July stay in 2006. We said good bye to those old friends BUT said hello to new friends at the Royal Mayan in 2007. Anxiously awaiting week 34 and 35 at the Mayan again in 2008.

this place was awesom! i walked in and it looked simply but it turned out to be amazing and not so costly..i had alot of fun and i really wish i could go back!!!

Great place to stay. Best beach to sit out and relax on but not the best if you like the ocean waves. Staying here from Jan 19 08 to Jan 29 08 and a week here just is not enough. the price is right and its located about five minutes from the clubs and shopping.

I loved this resort. This was my first trip to Cancun and I could have not left the resort and had a blast! The staff were amazing - service was great and the entire experience was wonderful. For my next Cancun trip, I am staying at CIC!

Club Internacional De Cancun is a very nice resort. This was our very first trip to Mexico and everything from the transportation from the airport to the activities that the resort had to offer were great. It felt like I was home and not in some small hotel room. The staff was very hospitable and helpful. The family enviroment, calm beach and easy access to shopping and entertainment were the best! I highly recomend this resort.

The hotel is older but fairly well maintained. They have some beautiful gardens and the pools are great. The rooms need to be remodeled though. The bathrooms are old, the kitchen needs updating, and the beds...lets just say if your used to sleeping on the floor the hard beds will be fine. It is a nice hotel if you have young kids and like to make your own meals and don't want to eat out a lot. It is on the north side of hotel zone, in the bay, so you don't get the waves and breeze that the hotels on the east (Carribean side) get.

This is THE most relaxing and wonderful place I have visited!!! We took some friends, and everyone had a fantastic time. We all want to return!!! The staff is SOOOOO helpful and friendly. When you walk in and they call you by name, you know that you are in a special place!

We stayed here the week of March 24-31, 2007 through an exchange with Interval Int'l. To be honest, I was expecting nothing more than an average resort. After all, it was a high-demand time for Cancun, so I figured if this place was that great, it wouldn't have availability for an exchange, right? This is a wonderful place. Very clean, a beautiful ocean view. Wonderful pool and beach. It's one of a handful of Royal Resort properties in Cancun. It's definitely the smallest, but it has a very quaint atmosphere about it. The others feel like big hotels. This one feels more like a residence. I was especially pleased with the on-site restaurants. Usually, at most properties the on-site food is priced higher than if you go to local eateries. Here, the food was more affordable. My only complaints would be the mattresses in the villas are very firm, which for some people is fine but they're a little too firm for my liking. Our villa overlooked the main street that runs past all properties in the Hotel Zone, so you do hear quite a bit of traffic (on the bright side, it's also located on the bus route and the buses are a great, affordable way to get around Cancun). There's also an on-site business center, but it's only open from 9-5, and closed for a lunch hour. It would have been nice to have access to that earlier in the mornings. Otherwise, I can't think of anything bad to say about this property. If I have the opportunity to exchange into this property again, I'd do it without hesitation.

I happen to have two weeks at VCI and one week at Royal Mayan. This year by chance, my vacation week available was for the week of the Royal Mayan. I think VCI is in the prime spot for those who wish to walk to town to shop, to eat or perhaps go to Church. It's all within reach, so to speak. I also enjoy access to the water from the beach. I find it calmer and better for snorkeling. I've been going to CanCun since 1979 and owe alot of thanks to Carlos Espinsosa who sold the weeks to my family. It's a great place to go to get away from the fast pace lifestyle that we have had to addapt to in our country.

Club Internacional de Cancun is a fantastic resort, right in the middle of wonderful Cancun. The villas (rooms) were very nice. The view from the terrace is awesome!The beach was the finest in Cancun. There were alot of resturants and shops near by. The two (2) pools was beautiful w/ a swim-up bar, and two (2) bridges that you can walk to and enjoy the view of the beach and pool. Alot of activitys for kids like pin'itas and necklace and braclets making for girls. I suggest the "Jungle Cruise" at Aquaworld Cancun b/c you go on a waverunner(jetski) w/ someone, go to a beautiful area by the forest (jungle) and snorkel. The fish were beautiful! I also suggest going to the pyramids of Tulum and Wet 'n Wild Cancun (waterpark). Also the near by "The Royal Sands" (also in Cancun- another resort in the Royal Resorts chain)is very nice. I give this resort an A+++++!
