Dreams Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa Unlimited Luxury All-Inclusive, Puerto Vallarta

My husband and I stayed 8 days, 7 nights, and got married at this resort. The staff was incredible, the food was incredible, and the jacuzzi suite was amazing. Every room is ocean front, so if you crack your door at night, you get the constant, soothing sound of the waves. We recommended this resort to 2 different sets of friends. They went at separate times and came back with raving reviews as well. This resort is definitely recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with amazing food and drinks!!

This resort is fantastifc. The food is amazing and you cannot beat the value for a nice, easy, all inclusive family vacation. We had very little to complain about in the week that we spent here. All of our needs were attended to immediately. The service was fantastic, attentive and timely. We never waited in a line. The entertainment was top notch!

I would not recommend the Dreams Hotel at all. My family and I took a cruise with Carnival and planned to use the facilities of a hotel in Puerto Vallarta. We went to the Presidencia Municipal(Civic Center), the office of tourism, located at the main plaza(plaza principal) and my wife obtained hotel information for the best and the cheapest day pass. The representative recommended Dreams because of its beach, and clean hotel as the best baragain at $35 per person. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children. Gregorio, the Chief Concierge (he kind of looks like Jabba the Hutt) was rude, arrogant and had no customer service skills. He charged us $55 per adult and never told us that food and drinks were included and only said that we could use the facilities; which were not those of a 5 star hotel. The pool was not very clean, there were no waiters coming around to see if we needed a drink and there was a very limited amount of lounging chairs. The activity staff was hospitable though. We would not recommend this hotel to anybody looking to have a good time for only a day in Puerto Vallarta! Do not buy the Dreams Day Pass! It’s a total rip-off!

My hubby and I came here for our first wedding anniversary this last December. We had an AMAZING time. If I didn't have so many other places that I wished to visit, I would go back in a heartbeat. A few things that I will never forget: We saw humpback whales every morning, the food was great (especially the 24/7 room service and Seaside Grill), you will never be bored at this resort! They go above and beyond to make your stay memorable, the baby turtle release was great, Dreams has by the best private beach in all of Puerto Vallarta, the sunsets were great, warm water with decent snorkeling, the swim up bar is AWESOME, zip lining was great and overall out of all of my trips, our time in PV was the best.

What they say and what you get are two different things. All smiles when you arrive but when an issue arrives no one wants to deal with you. Deluxe rooms are equal to a regular standard hotel room, nothing "deluxe" about them. Glasses are dirty, pool water is disgusting and drink quality is low. The staff is friendly and does try hard however management drops the ball. Internet service is expensive and spotty, food quality is OK but be careful about seafood sitting outside for long periods of time. The beach is nice however it is really not great for swimming, pounding waves, and lots of stingrays. Take a cruise - way better value!

we went to dreams and had a wedding ceremony. It was a DREAM...everyone at this resort was awesome and the food exquisite! The downside is if you dont stay in the tower then you have families and kids who make a lot of noise at their other building and pool area...but all and all it is a great place to stay...we will be going back for sure. Also cheap taxi rides to downtown shopping and authentic dining a must!

We loved the multiple choices of on site restaurants and delicious foods. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. The wait staff and management was impeccable and very professional. There was ample evening activity with fun stuff for all ages. I can't list everything we loved about our vacation stay but it was the most amazing experience of an all inclusive hotel. We love cruises and this was equal to any cruise we have been on without the confinement of a ship for varied activities. We have planned for and look forward to spending our next anniversary at Dreams : )

I have traveled the world and have never been any place more beautiful than Puerto Vallarta and, in particular, Dreams Resort. The service was so incredible that my sister and I are badly, badly spoiled after only a week. The food was delicious and the presentation First Class! We were there (9/1 - 9/8) in the rainy season, but rain was confined to the afternoon and was not a problem. One of our favorite activities was releasing the baby turtles. We did it twice and it was a moving experience. The stall bends over backwards to make the stay a great one. The room was lovely and clean and hearing the waves break as we went to sleep was soothing. I would certainly go again and stay at Dreams!

My friend and I stayed the week of the 19th!! It was beautiful! The staff was great! The food was fantastic, anything you wanted. Carlos the waiter was excellent! Sure people all over stake out the pool chairs early, that happens anywhere it has nothing to do with the hotel! The parties were fun and so were the activities. The only thing it needs is a bus to take you to town in the evening to enjoy the nightlife with your fellow hotel guests. We spoke to many families and honeymooners and the all said they would return and so would l. It was a Dream at Dreams!

My hunband and I went for our 5th anniversary. Arrived there on July 26, '08 and I was shocked...not at all what I saw on the internet. When we got there and was checking in the counter guy started haggling with us about our room. Said for an extra $70.00 a night we could stay on the 10th (20th in new tower) floor but otherwise we would have to stay on the 5th. My husband decided to look at the rooms he was talking about before he made that decision. When we got to the 5th floor room they were painting the furniture! So, I felt like we had no choice..so, we decided to take the 10th floor room along with the extra charge! I was really upset by this. But, my husband had never gone to an all-inclusive and had no idea what a five star was suppose to look like. And to me it was far from that. The rooms were clean I guess the food was good but the pools were lacking. The swim up bar should have been at the adult pool not the family pool I think. They needed more chairs at the adult pool also. Watch out for those people that come down before dawn and save their lounge chairs while they go eat breakfast, go down to the beach or go to town even and then come back to claim their spot! This was wrong, I watched several lounge chairs stay empty most of the day from people doing that. I was actually confronted by a lady that wanted to know who moved her book! And I told her I did because I had been watching that chair for the last 3-4 hours no one showed up. She wasn't happy but! PEOPLE don't do that...the space is limited anyways. The best time we had was in town that Tuesday night! A great place to hang out and get a BUD-LIGHT is at the No Name Bar and Grill! Great food and Great people working there. I'm hoping all Dream Resorts aren't this disappointing because next year we were thinking about Dreams in Cabbo. Don't think we would stay here again. Sorry. Would I recommend this resort to a friend, no. Not worth the money we paid and then to be haggled for more...
